This Is Spinal Tap.

Best mockumentary of all time ! This is probably my favorite scene in the movie, but the whole movie is awesome.

What is your opinion of the movie, and what's your favorite scene ?

Great movie with so many hilarious scenes. Seen it well over 20 times over the years. This was genius:

Not just the best mockumentary of all-time, but greatest movie of all time. There I said it, the absolute best. You can't pick any one scene. The whole thing is great, especially if you listen to it in Dubly.

The official cause of death was, he choked on vomit.
They don’t know whose vomit it was.

We say love thy brother.
We don’t literally say it.
We don’t literally mean it.
But we’re anything but racist.

You can't really dust for vomit.

Well I would feel a lot worse if I wasn't so heavily sedated.

We've got armadillos in our trousers. It really is quite terrifying.

My daughter (no pics) watched this movie during her first quarter of college this year in her Satire Class.

She called me after class to tell me all about it because she thought I would enjoy it.

I reminded her that she and I watched it together when she was 12 years old. Then, it dawned on her why it all seemed so familiar in class.

Anyway ... I believe there is a sequel in the works and it's due out soon.

One of my favorite all-time movies.

Sex Farm

Working on a sex farm
Trying to raise some hard love
Getting out my pitchfork
Poking your hay
Scratching in your henhouse
Sniffing at your feedbag
Slipping out your back door
Leaving my spray
Sex farm woman
I'm gonna mow you down
Sex farm woman
I'll rake and hoe you down
Sex farm woman
Don't you see my silo risin' high, high, high, high
Working on a sex farm
Hosing down your barn door
Bothering your livestock
They know what I need
Working up a hot sweat
Crouching in your pea patch
Plowing through your beanfield
Planting my seed
Sex farm woman
I'll be your hired hand
Sex farm woman
I'll let my offer stand
Sex farm woman
Don't you hear my tractor rumbling by, by, by, by
Working on a sex farm
Trying to raise some hard love
Getting out my pitchfork
Poking your hay!

Songwriters: Harry Shearer / Christopher Guest / Michael Mc Kean / Rob Reiner

The lyrics are so nonsensical especially when read off a page. “Gimme Some Money” just a song where a guy is begging for money. Opening lyrics “Stop wasting my time, you know what I want, you know what I need, or maybe you don’t.” Lol such horrible song writing makes me lol every time.

The full movie is available on Internet Archive. Pretty decent quality. It also has a separate video of extras !

Since this thread is in danger of being forgotten like Ronnie Pudding or Ross McLochness, I Shan't let that happen. Here's a bump for my fellow Tappers.
