Vegas knows that casual fans will see the name and jump all over it. Doesn’t necessarily imply that they think we’re the third best team in the country

Though with the way we’re playing right now, I don’t think anyone would be shocked if we did make a deep run

a&m

Until they ever do anything, at any real sport, I refuse to take them serious

Aggie = massive fan base CRAVING for something positive. They will not be able to “flip the script” from how poorly they’ve played down the stretch.

Tenner might be the best odds to me.

Arky = rabid fan base and knows they have a shot. They are also like Aggie and crave a title

LSU = rabid fan base and won a title. Hot down the stretch and fans love to waste money gambling.

UK might be good odds as well but they haven’t been there before. I think they are a complete team.

Someone posted we were +4500 going into the Ole Miss series on one of the big sportsbooks or even after that series maybe. Pretty sure it was Caesars.

We weren’t a lock for the tourney at the time so makes sense but that was great value. 45:1 instead of 9:1 odds now

overall 1 seed hasn’t won it this century. Definitely not easy money but I would’ve thought UT would’ve had better odds to win it all too than 6:1. Not bad value considering a new SEC school wins it every year, but definitely not easy money either

It’s that time of year where Vitello’s teams play tight. I wouldn’t be surprised if Tenn doesn’t make it to the CWS.

ELO rankings say we’re the third best team in the country right now.

Unfrickinfortunately they have us in a regional with the #2 ELO team in the country who is 32-2 at home this season.

Tennessee has a great shot to win it all. They slept walked through the sec tournament and won it

Which is why I think they won’t win it. The pressure is on them.

So can I bet $1000 against and win $100 if we don’t win?

If do we win what’s $1000 versus a Natty.

They did well but there’s no way they “sleep walk” and win the tournament. Ark, Kentucky, A&M are had good seasons and Carolina and LSU were too hot. These teams wouldn’t lose to someone sleep walking.

Their regional is pretty loaded with experienced teams. They might have a tough time.

FanDuel has us at 9th lowest at +1800 just to compare. UNC at +1600. So basically FanDuel thinks regional is a coin flip

I’m not a betting guy so IDK. If LSU wins the College World Series you win $550?

Of course not.

All the teams odds to win will add up to 115% or so. That’s the juice, and you can’t take the other side.
