Gas has been anywhere from $3 to $3.50 for for at least a year in my part of SE Louisiana. Gas prices could have been lower for a couple years now, however we have Super Dementia pretending to run things. How many people that are still on the Democratic Plantation rely on public transportation, and how many of those people in and around cities are worried more about food prices VS gas prices for cars they don’t have. I also know how fuel prices have an effect on everything but this BS is nothing more than BS political tactics that are a little to late for people with any common sense.

The puppet masters of this worthless senile idiot Biden are compromising our national security by depleting our strategic reserves.

Remember the Columbia gasoline pipeline shutdown 4-5 years ago, that was rumored to be an internet disruption caused by the Russians . With no back up the next malcontent will be much more impactful

His wife should be would charged with elder abuse for allowing what’s currently happening. One day he’s obviously having mental issues because the man is old and that’s expected, however a few days later his eyes are wide open and without a doubt someone has injected something into him that would make JFK blush during The Cuban Missile Crisis.

I’m in Walker and under $3 at the local Murphy….

So personal hush money paid to a floozy trying to stir up shite is election interference, but releasing a million barrels of the nation’s STRATEGIC RESERVES in an effort to hide your administration’s out of control inflation is kosher?

As a nation we use 8 million barrels of gas a day. Let's say the northeast (where the reserves will be emptied) is responsible for 1 million of that.
He's basically selling an extra day's worth of gas cheap into the local supply. This won't put a golf ball dimple in prices at the pump.
But the tanks get stirred, the old gas gets cycled out and the propaganda machine feeds him another talking point to soften a blow that comes every summer.

Gasoline about to expire?
Posted on 5/21/24 at 9:16 pm to ragincajun03
frick all these people. Gas prices have been exceptionally stupid since the first of the year. Drop just below $3, then overnight shoot up $.30-$.40. Then slowly fall back.
I paid $2.93 Sunday afternoon. $3.31 Monday evening. Because “reasons.”
I’m sick of everything costing double what it did four years ago. My salary sure as shite hasn’t changed that much.

How does this do anything when there are production platforms in the gulf producing 1 million barrels a day???
My understanding of the situation is gas prices haven't been controlled as much recently by the supply of crude but the refining capacity.

I’m in Franklinton and I honestly don’t remember the last time it was under $3 at the Chevron I go to. I’m sure it’s been under $3 and might be now at a couple of the gas stations in town but I’ll stick with civility over lawlessness. I’m more concerned with the grocery store prices, Jack Browns, Winn Dixie, Mains Market compared to gas prices.

Well those production platforms are producing a million bbls of oil a day (if that’s the quantity, I don’t know), not a million bbls of gasoline a day.

Baton Rouge and Gonzales have been under $3 the last couple times I’ve been in town.
