Any connections at All Star Chevrolet BR?

I bought a 2020 Ford Expedition with 73k miles on it. Transmission went out after having it 33 days. It came with a 30 day warranty. Am I SOL? Trying to get ahold of their GM, but apparently he quit yesterday. Anyone have any connections there that could help? Any recommendations?

1. Don't say a damn thing. Don't create a paper trail.
2. Apply for the extended warranty ASAP.
3. Wait a few days and file a claim. Sometimes 30 days minimum is required.
Most extended warranties are through a third party and not the dealership.

Come on by, baw. We’ll evaluate it as a trade in and make a deal to get you in something nice.

Most likely SOL. Wouldn’t hurt to try though.
Ford’s normally don’t have transmission issues, especially at that mileage.

Tell them the old GM told you to come on in and he would take care of it for you.

More than likely a 30 day 50/50. I'm sure they would still honor that.

I am guessing it started to go out before 30 days and there were symptoms, but was not diagnosed until day 33.. maybe try that angle

Isn't there an older long time poster that works in the parts department there?

I have a close friend that rebuilds transmissions for a living. GM keeps him busy. Fords not so much.

And they all have a mileage minimum before it’s active. And it’s normally around 1,000 miles. So it’s 30 days of time and you still have to drive 1,000 miles.

33 days and warranty is up. They won’t honor it nor should they.
What’s shitty is, I had a family member bring a car to Gerry Lane complaining about transmission issue just before the warranty went out.
It was under warranty. They claimed they fixed this and that and it didn’t need a transmission fix or whatever. Car gets fixed. A week later, the warranty expires, another week later, transmission issues still happen. They say too bad. Even-though they didn’t fix what we claimed was the problem. They thought they did fix the problem and claimed this was a new problem. What you gonna do besides sue them and never buy from them again?
