Will the Westminster Dog Show ever recognize the "Shreveport Stunna"?

These beautiful dogs have been bred for decades near the banks of the Red River in the alternating "good areas/bad areas" of Shreveport.
The rednecks with Labs, and the homeboys with Pit Bulls have developed a standard for an exceptional backyard pet with the ever lurking possibility of biting off your child's face.
Seriously though, these mixes are overwhelming our streets. You can't go anywhere without seeing a puppy rummaging through a discarded McDonalds bag in a parking lot, or swollen up dead on the shoulder of I-49.
So remember the immortal words of Bob Barker...

Is it a lab/pit mix?
Yes. There has been an explosion of them...
This one was found at my buddy's business running in traffic near the Youree/Kings intersection. That's what spawned my thread.

Does the labrador blood make them less murderous?

50% decrease in true F1 (first cross) mixes. That is still pretty high though.

No, they just take time out between chomps to do something goofy AF.

now if a kid jumps in a lake to get away from the attacking dog, the dog will just jump in and swim after them.

Just goofy murderers now.

Was in Walmart in North Bossier over the weekend. Was an overweight white dude about my age,50, riding a scooter. Your standard white trash redneck. Bald head, bushy beard, tank top, tatted up. He had a large full blood pit on a chain in the store. Not dog leash but actual chain. Also had a .45 strapped to his hip. I was standing in check out line and had my 6 y/o grandson with me when this jack arse gets in line behind us. I politely asked him if he thought it was wise to bring a dog into the store around other people, particularly a dog breed known to have a history. He claimed it was his “emotional support dog”. I told him that wasn’t very funny and he said he was being dead serious. He said his shrink had suggested he get one to help him with severe stress, anxiety and depression issues. I told him if had had to be in constant contact with an emotional support dog then he probably didn’t need to be walking around strapped. He got pretty pissed and very vocal with me at that point. I had enough and we just left our crap on conveyor and left the store. Crappy thing is, he ended up leaving the scooter inside and walked out his truck. Didn’t even need the damn thing. What a piece of shite.
And just to clarify..I am a huge dog lover, current owner of 2 rescues, and avid 2A supporter.

I have one. Wife was a bartender at one of the bars near Centenary and Stoner. There was a very pregnant pit that would cut across the bars parking lot into a wooded area. Don't know what happened to the momma dog, but 3 puppies were found just a couple trees into that wooded area. The one we wound up with has been the best boy who survived Parvo and is just shy of his 10th birthday.

I feel like we probably know each other. Are you talking about Ivan's?

It just makes them more able to swim to get to what they want to murder.

I’m a real fan of the coconut corn husky
They’re battle dogs that fight stray cats in Miami
Unfortunately I don’t have any pictures
