Best fly prevention for outdoor kitchen/pool area?

We are in central Florida it is always a battle but it seems more annoying than usual lately. We have an outdoor kitchen area that is next to the pool and then we like hanging out and eating family meals outside. Whats the best fly prevention technique or chemical you would recommend?

I used these when I had my dog kennels to keep the flys down and they work well LINK

Bifenthrin works great. Can pick it up at tractor supply. I spray about once a month. We also hang those vanilla tree car air fresheners up where we’re hanging out and that works good

Yes sir. Bottle comes with mixing instructions. You can mix and spray in anything but I have a bigger yard so I have a 4 gallon backpack sprayer I use. It says you can do indoor too but I only do outdoor.
I mix it up and spray all around the house first, then I make my way out to the yard and tree line. If I run out I mix another batch. But just spray liberally. Spray heavy on thick stuff you think bugs will be in.
It also works great on mosquitos, ants, spiders, roaches, and wasps. So I literally just coat my house and yard in it.
They say it’s best to spray at dusk or dawn so you don’t kill the bees while you’re at it. So that’s what I normally try to do. If I spray at dawn I try to wait a couple of hours before I mow. And bring your dog in while you spray and wait an hour or so before you let him back out.

I use it indoor outdoor. It’s what my bug man used to spray inside, cheaper diy. Amazon has no name brands.

One of the best things I've ever used for flies are the Red Top Fly Traps. If you have the room, I can't recommend them enough. They smell after a while, so having the room to locate it away from your area, you want to be upwind of the prevailing wind, is best. They catch a ton of flies, and because they use an attractant/bait the traps lure flies away from your gathering areas.
They may not be a solution for small lots, but they do work.
And that is how they will look, that is no BS advertising.
ETA: I've never had them attract flies to any other area than the trap. I first used them during a wet Spring/early Summer after farmers spread chicken litter on fields closeby. We had terrible flies on both our front and back porches. It took 2-3 days to start working, but after that we rarely saw another fly around the porches, yet the trap was covered.

I've never had any luck with the whole bag of water deal. I've tried it with and without pennies, tacked to the wall, hung from the ceiling, none of it ever really worked.

The fly-trap thingy you can get at home depot or amazon. I think its called Rescue Fly Trap.
Those things are surreal. They work so well it will be a conversation piece.
They are super cheap, super effective, non-toxic and fast. In a week it will be filled with dead flies- like a thousand dead flies. Maybe more.
You'd swear it is attracting every fly for 10 miles, but they don't travel more than several hundred feed from where they start.

The old Miss rednecks at our camp say it looks like a hornet's nest to the fly, which is bad news for the flies.
ETA: the penny or nickel in the corner looks like the entry/exit of the hornet's nest.
