I ask them if it's #1...or #2. Then decide after they answer.

Yes. Good workers are hard to find, and I would rather have to clean my bathroom than wait another 3 months to get the job done because some fickle work crew ghosted me mid project.

If it's the guest bathroom sure. When you gotta go you gotta go.

would you rather he shite in your front yard?

Honestly, if you tell them no they're just going to leave it in a gatorade bottle between studs in your walls; rather than in your toilet. Your choice.

This is fricking dumb. Any decent human being would let someone shite in there house or get them a porta potty.

WTH? I always have the bathroom prepped for visitors (workers or otherwise).

So you trust him to work on your house wiring, but you don't trust him to use a toilet properly?

I always let them know which bathroom they can use. We have a 1/2 bath in a utility room. All but one painter have used it. The painter took a shite in the 1/2 bath right off our foyer every damn day for a week.

I only ask that they leave the door open and I can watch

Do you ever have parties at your house?

I would have no problem if a worker asked to use one of my guest bathrooms

The week after I moved into a new house (new construction), the builder had his sheetrock guy come and fix a spot in the hallway. We were still unoboxing things room by room. The worker was a short, fat Hispanic guy. Finished the work in about 30 mins and asked to use the restroom. I let him, and he was in there at least 30 mins. The sounds coming out of there were atrocious. When he was done he rolled out like nothing happened, "Have a nice day."

Your giving them a good reason to leave for 2 hours to go use the bathroom while still billing you.

I fix my own shite. Then I know it's done right the first time.

Yes, the powder room by the front entrance.
