People keep saying get rid of BI. What does it matter if Willie is still around? Is he gonna start playing multiple shooters? Run a modern offense? Make in-game adjustments?

i'm just here to say both Willie and BI suck and we'd be better off without either one

This may happen without BI just saying. Not sure about the other stuff.

BI “give me the ball coach”
Willie “so we can watch you dribble into a turnover or brick a contested 2 pt trick shot”

He just will not take a 3 unless he is wide open for whatever reason.
It's not even just the lack of 3s.
On Jake's show yesterday, he pointed out that, when we had a true PG, BI took 25% of his shots at the rim, and that figure was only 15% this season. Time and time again this season, BI would pull up for a middie instead of taking the ball to the hoop. I remember back when he put on weight and said that he wanted to start dishing out some of the blows, and that guy disappeared this season.
We saw throughout the season, but especially at the end against Dort, that BI struggles against close, physical defense. BI does best when he has space. Even though it didn't really work, we were better back when CJ was trying to play PG than we were with BI trying to be the lead ball handler.

Griffin could do a Money Ball type power play. Trade BI, Nance and make WG have to use players that fit around Z. Can't force play a player that you don't have, and you have to play the players you have , like Hawk and Trey

Both BI and WG are walking hypocrites, WG says .5sec offense and take 35-40 3's a game but he sits Hawk and a lot of times only has 1 shooter on the court with Z .. BI says he's gonna bulk up and get more physical with defenders but he shy's away from driving and bodying up against defenders and takes a contested pull up 2

Man, I don’t want to choose sides in this beef, maybe we should just get rid of both of them

Who is available if we can Willie?
I know Bud is available.
Borrego is also on the list of available candidates for other jobs, showing he is at least in demand.

I’m not a Willie fan but I side with Willie on this one. BI was playing absolute shite since the lakers game and he was an absolute black hole on offense. Complete ball stopper and offense killer

The biggest issue I've always had with Willie was accountability. Holding guys accountable. For me, he took a big step in siting BI that caused this "exchange" and when he benched BI and CJ in the Laker game.
Him being completely passive about refs is a different topic.

It took Willie 3 years to hold BI accountable. Meanwhile JV or Trey immediately go to the bench once they have one defensive miscue. I mean in all honesty the way BI is, is partly due to Willie not holding him accountable for his first 3 years.
Willie spoiled BI for 3 years- holding him accountable now is kind if useless. If any of you are parents you completely get what Im saying here. BI is a spoiled child who was basically able to do whatever he wanted under Griffin and Willie offensively.

I dunno, for sure he's held him accountable for getting wins which has increased each year. But yea, let's corporate this narrative up.

Huh you think BI was the sole reason we increased our wins each year?

For sure a real big reason

Last season with Zion and without BI- we were a top team in west; he got injured we lost in play-in with BI.
This season point Zion was carrying us- BI came back and lost every game other than Kings he played in. We were swept because BIs inept offensive play.
Some would argue a lot of our major losses and lack of greater achievement is due to BI.
But you know if its never BIs fault and lets give him all the credit. Give me a break.

BI doesn't need to be traded because he's a bad player, he needs to be traded because his natural style is not a fit with how the team needs to play to maximize what they are doing.
If you could guarantee me that a heart to heart between the brain trust and BI would have Ingram come in and make similar sacrifices and changes like we saw from CJ, But I really don't think that's the likely way this plays out. Even then I still question if we have enough "PG" ability between BI and Zion. BI out and someone like Dejounte Murray or Garland in just seems like a needed change.

Hes just not good enough in todays nba. The guy never shoots 3s, isn’t an impact defender, and refuses to adapt his game to the team or situation.
Yes he can score- when he doesn’t have a physical defender on him- but thats why hes one time all star and has never made any other all nba team.

Off the point but ok. If you really dont think he’s a big reason for Pels increasing wins each year, I don’t know what more to say. Im just impressed every time someone spitballs ‘accountability’ when they just cant think of anything else.

Exactly why i have a feeling BI's trade value is going to be shockingly low.
You have to fit your style around BI and he's not good enough to make that worth it. Oh yeah and he also wants 50m/year.
