Definitely Idaho.

The latest destination of choice for many is Idaho. West Virginia is the diamond in the rough
I think NW Arkansas has got to be up there too.

There’s some opportunities in Missouri down south too.

This and Northern AR. Both west of the delta region.
If I had to stay in MS, I would look at NE Miss around Pickwick.

St. George, Mandeville, Old Metairie, Bawcomville.

I've lived in La. all my life and the best place is here around Benton. I say 'around' because most people live in the ex-burbs outside of city limits.
Large lots, plenty of forested areas, nice lake front areas, no crime.
I checked zip code property values and Benton is the 20th richest out of the 719 codes in La.
However, there is no Starbucks here.

Small towns. They don't put up with demoncraps.

The south that is not run by Democrats. Georgia has a Republican governor, but I would not move there.
Alabama right now seems like they have their shite together.
Just find a good city here to move to.
Anything north of Birmingham is good. Anything south of Montgomery is good. Stay away from the black belt unless you just want to hunt here. Hunting in the black belt of Alabama is prime hunting (Dallas County).
We will not put up with Democratic BS.

Right now you want to be in as rural an area as possible. The cities are all pozzed.

Im a big fan. Cullman seems like the obvious answer but its lower on my list than most. Guntersville, Arab, Scottsboro, Rainbow City are fantastic. I really love Athens. All those are close enough to Huntsville and also
far enough away.

Sounds like a great place for a tough father who wants to forge a new way for his family - a modern homesteader if you will. I guess there’s some loners also but that would be weird.

Is that Alaska or an abandoned city in China?

Huntsville is the new Nashville. That part of the state will change tremendously in the next few years.

Your loners live in the islands. Thousands of them.
The towns are probably more civilized than most towns in the South. The best part, the geography and climate keep the pussies out.

Definitely not southern Missouri, people are too redneck friendly and MAGA minded, avoid this part of the country.

I have 60 acres in the Piney Woods that I inherited. The land around it is all family. It's been in our family since the 1830s. If things ever get bad, we can take our RV down there.
