District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s case suffered more setbacks Thursday as the prosecution’s sixth witness wrapped up his testimony with significant hits to his credibility.

During a heated cross examination, defense attorney Emil Bove managed to cast Keith Davidson, former attorney for Karen McDougal and Stormy Daniels, as a shady lawyer who gets as close to the line as he can without crossing it, brokering deals that border on extortion. Davidson, who played an important role in the $130,000 payment to Daniels at the heart of the prosecution’s case, failed to deflect much of Bove’s line of questioning, appearing dodgy when he said he “could not recall” the answers only to be forced to reckon with his own words when instructed to listen to recorded audio of the conversations.

It's a bad case but Bragg has home court advantage and the ref in his pocket.

I scanned thru that link.

Didn't know the documentation of these NDC's could use pseudonyms for the principals in the official records.

What a way to live.

Megyn Kelly has been following the case pretty closely and reporting on it on her podcast. She is not optimistic about Trumps chances of a hung jury or not-guilty verdict. She believes the verdict through jury selection and soon to be judge instructions to the jury is already baked in, guilty.

She comments that the judge will lead the jury like a horse to water and they will drink. "The jury instruction should say if you find that the type of money paid to Stormy Daniels is the type of money that would only ever be used to advance someone's electoral chances then you may proceed to find whether Trump actually paid that money. That's what it [jury instructions] should read. 'Do we think that hush money is only paid to advance an election? Oh, wait no. Men have been paying that since the dawn of time. Okay what do we do now judge?' The next line should be, "Acquit. Because there is no underlying crime that would revive the dead misdemeanor of falsifying business records."

But what it's [jury instructions] going to say is, 'do you think he conspired to try to win the election with Stormy Daniels or her representatives? And the only way the jury will say no to that is if he and Michael Cohen did not talk at all and I don't think they are going to reach that. So I think he's [Trump] is losing and he shouldn't be and I stand by my original prediction Trump is going down."

Megyn goes on to say that after found guilty the penalty will be something else besides jail time.

Home court.

Officials paid off.

Your own players betting against you.

The entire NYC court is rigged against Trump.

Do you really think facts or testimony matters in this kangaroo court?

There is a sworn document from Stormi saying she never had sex (a romantic relationship) with Trump.

It is all ridiculous...

quote:

“I don’t think that anyone had ever alleged that any interactions between she and Mr. Trump was romantic,” Davidson said, keying in on the last word to distinguish it from a “sexual encounter.”

On a similar question about how denying a “sexual relationship” was true, Davidson noted it was never alleged that they had a “relationship.”
Also, no one mentions that HRC PAID a slew of women $500K to go on TV and say Trump raped them.

It's really no case but when the Neo/Cultural Marxists control the judiciary......here we are.

That being said, if Stormy did not have sex with Trump, why sign the NDA. Apparently Cohen saw exposure there when he went to her. It's not illegal what happened but if she did not have sex, why the NDA in the first place? Trump could just as well said,"I have never been intimate with Ms Daniels much less had sex with her"

Would be cheaper and less problematic.

He’s also got the backing of the proverbial “ league office in Tuscaloosa”.

Maybe Cohen got a kick back from Stormy.

Who knows

But paying it to silence someone you didn’t sleep with is odd.

Maybe they didn’t but she threatened to describe him naked or something stupid like that. Who knows really.
