"At the Federal level" he voted against numerous Omnibus spending bills, had a 90%+ conservative rating, and voted against Amnesty and other things that the establishment tried to get through. He voted against the Dems at almost 100%, and voted against his own party on numerous occasions on "establishment issues".
As VP, he will be controlled. The GOPe didn't back his losing campaign for fun. Like I also said about attracting votes, he lost to Haley.

DeSantis would be a complete pussy if he accepted that after the things Trump has said. Plus, whoever the VP is, he will be completely emasculated by Trump and won’t be a threat in 2028.
DeSantis should politely, and secretly, decline, then run hard for 2028. I doubt it will do him much good, though, because while DeSantis is a great governor, he does not have Presidential charisma.

I don't see it. DeSantis doesn't bring anything to the table that Trump doesn't already bring.

No one should want that position. There is no chance that a Republican is elected after a Trump term.

No. He cannot get a white guy who was branded as homophobic with “don’t say gay”
He has to play identity politics on this unfortunately. Get someone they can’t call a racist. Tim Scott.
The Republicans should be running Tim Scott in the first place. There is no one who could beat him on the Dem side. No one.

Like, what does it even mean if a VP doesn’t have “electors”? Would Trump be forced take Kamala?
If the VP doesn't get to 270, he could be stuck with whoever the Senate gives him out of the top three VP candidates.

There's no reasoning with someone that believes these things.

The sooner Orange man announces his pick, the better. Trump needs a surrogate out there and the running mate can take the work load. And watching RDS recently, he is a warrior. So pick him.

How on earth would it be ok to have Trump pair up with another GOPe, globalist, sexual predator in heels?
Seriously. That’s not OK. Trump said so. You folks said so.
What’s with the flip? Why are those facts about Ron being ignored now?

Vivek fits the criteria, is the most capable orator and can reach the younger voter. Vivek also appears untainted with GOPe money.

Remove sexual predator and you are 100% right.

Being the governor of Florida and the defacto leader of the states rights resistance is easily a more powerful position than Trump’s running mate.
I agree the contrast between Ron and Biden would’ve been exceedingly stark on a national debate stage and a death sentence for Biden’s campaign but I doubt Biden’s handlers would’ve allowed it to happen.
It’s going to be a closer race than it needed to be due to the vitriol against Trump being extra special.
Also selfishly don’t want him to waste his time. He’s doing great by us here in Florida. The country had their shot and the cult out there slandered the dude as much as humanely possibly. Find someone else and we’ll keep him for the next 3 years.

The clapping seal contingent isn’t worth reasoning with. They believe and spread lies like progressives.

It makes sense for Trump, less so for Ron. He can mend his fences by actively campaigning and fundraising for Trump. No reason to risk potential falling-out as VP.

Since when is this been a huge benefit to the GOP ranks. Typically experience = sellout. This is one of the most laughable arguments about a candidate.
