Sage may land in the 5-7 range.
As others have said, Sage shouldn't even be starting on a good SEC team. I have defended the LSU secondary more than most but it scares the hell out of me that Sage and Burns might be 2 of the 5 starters in the secondary. They are not SEC caliber starters.

Campbell is going between 1-5 overall RD1.
Perkins with a big year under new defense will go top 10. If he has another season like last, he’s a First Rounder 20-32.
Emory Jones probably goes anywhere between 15-32 RD1.
Lacy RD 2-3.
CJ Daniels RD 3-4.
Dellinger RD3
I think Nuss balls out, but can’t predict him yet. He could be a Heisman contender. He could also play well, but want to refine his craft 1 more season and go for a RD1 pick after 25.
To me, Penn, and Ryan would not be drafted as is. This is not to say they can’t, but they will need to perform this season.
I think Hilton stays at LSU 2 more seasons, as I don’t see him being a top 2-3 WR for us this season. He will be drafted in 2 years.
Major Burns, and Savion Jones fall under my Penn and Ryan category. I think they can be drafted in the last couple of rounds.
Jardin Gilbert RD4-5.
Myles Frazier RD4.
Jacobian Guillory RD5.
This is 9 total draft picks, with a possibility of 6 more candidates. I think we get between 10-12 draft picks next season. Should be a good year for us.

Nuss ain’t gone be one and done as a starter

So he’s either gonna be really really really good and go round 1.
Or be really good and go round 3 or 4.
But he won’t be really really good which would land him in the 2nd round.
Even funnier trying to weave that very specific needle considering there were zero QBs drafted in the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th rounds at all this year.
I mean, you kind of figured it out.
QBs, if they are viewed positively go very high. Because Nussmeier is so physically gifted, he's either going to be viewed as a top QB...or a prospect.
It's funny you got your panties in a wad about this meaningless opinion.

I’m hoping to see Nuss have a ginormous season before he leaves. I’m hoping once he gets in a routine as the starter he’ll be even more accurate with his throws. And if he puts up big time numbers he could be a top pick I would hope.

Predicting Will Campbell Top 5 but E Jones possibly a second round?
Nuss would come back before doing that.
Sage and Penn unlikely.
Who knows how it will all shake out.

Miss will lose his entire place after this season. It may weigh very heavily on his decision.

I dont see sage or penn getting drafted. Both are slow for their positions
I've seen a lot of complaints about Sage but this might be the most ignorant one yet. The one thing Sage has going for him is his speed. SMH

If we’re making crazy predictions - Perkins & Campbell will both be top 5.

Perkins is hard to predict. He is awesome, but his size will force a team to get creative in how he is used. A lot of teams may want to use their first round pick for guys who fit a position better.
That said, he only needs one team to figure it out.

I think delingwr and lacy are border 1st rounders

Sage burns and penn will get drafted ido not think not high but I think someone will spend a pick on them with a specific roll in mind
I think burns can be and should be a line backer

If he does well enough this year to get a 2nd round grade, he may see a higher ceiling by coming back.
Coaches will have a lot to say about it by the end of the year. If they don't think he's the definite starter in 2025 based on what he does this year, he may be gone regardless of projection.

Dellinger is nowhere close to a 1st rounder.

Let me ask you something. Did you see Jayden being the number 2 overall pick before the start of last season?
I had him as the heisman winner and a top 15 pick.

I think he has the frame for 220 but souls have transitioned last year either here at lsu or another school so this year would be year 2 at OLB
Posted on 5/1/24 at 10:40 pm to GorgeousGeorge
I think he is closer than ppl think he is severely underrated and is going to make some money in the nfl if he stays heathy

One linebacker was drafted in the first two rounds this draft. Pick 45. No way perkins goes that high.

11 is an enormous amount to be drafted. Bama led all colleges this year with 10 and happened to slip in Mr Irrelevant. Could've easily been 9 leading all programs this year.
Sorry sir, but Texas had 11 players drafted this year.
