Still sitting 12th…do we think 10 will get in?

It depends on how many get to 13 wins.

10 got in last year and I think this year the SEC is stronger, d1 baseball at one point we’re talking about a possible 11 SEC teams. It really depends on how many conferences who are 1 bid have steals and what not. With our mid week W-L and pre SEC play I feel good about 13 wins.

Not to quibble, but I think we're currently 11th.

Yeah we moved into 12th last night, and I think we moved up to 11th after today’s action.
11. LSU
12. Old Miss
13. Mizzou
14. Auburn

Right, we’re alone in 11th now win tomorrow and we’re only a game behind Bama and Florida.
D1baseball will have us as a 3-seed in a regional in their next projection on Wednesday if we complete the sweep tomorrow.

You are right Sir.
I get people being optimistic, but let's not start counting wins before we play. This is only the second series we've won.

Read the quote that you posted.

It’s really very simple.
LSU sits at 7-13 in conference play with 10 games remaining.
13-17 gets them squarely on the bubble. 50-50. (Going for them, they would finish strong the last 5 weeks of conference series games. Going against them, weak non-con schedule and no series wins against ranked teams.)
14-16 gets them in.
Just have to find a way to win 7 of next 10 SEC games.
Today is crucial. Win today, they have to take 2/3 in last 3 series or can just win 1/3 against A&M, sweep one, and win 2/3.
Lose today, they have to go 2/3 in 2 and sweep another.

Today just made the postseason look unlikely.

13 wins and an RPI below 40 usually gets you in the tourney. Also, the committee takes into account SECT wins.

One less than you think will get in.
