35mm film developing

Friend of mine found 15ish disposable cameras
and five or six rolls of undeveloped film at her house the other night.
I need to know where to get them developed. I went to CVS and they looked at me like I had a monkey dick growing out of my head, Figure Walgreens would be the same
Hope between the bullshite respones, I may could get an idea of somewhere that would develope them for her,
Anyone had experience with this?

If I knew how to do it, I’d make a gif of someone developing film with the photo slowly coming into view and it becomes clear that it’s that big dicked black guy sitting on the bed then I’d post it here in this thread. Instead, y’all will have to use your imagination.

That’s going to cost an assload of money….if you can find someone to do it at all. You might try a local photography shop to see if they know of someone who still has a darkroom and chemicals.

Glad to know your first thought was of a big dicked black guy. Tells me all I need to know about you.

You might try Mpix:
https://www.mpix.com/products/film
On most things they provide quality service at reasonable prices.
There are other places--how much you willing to spend?

I remember I was so cheap, I would mail my 35mm rolls to some place.
But, I did splurge on that extra 25 cents for "Express processing and shopping".

Walmart still develops film.
Walmart Photo Processing
Walmart Photo Processing
quote:
Easy & convenient—ready in days:
You can now complete your order on the photo kiosks. Bring your film or one-time-use cameras to a Walmart Photo Center. See an Entertainment associate for assistance when dropping off your film. Your prints will be available for pickup in approximately 6 days. You can choose 4x6, 5x7 or larger prints for framing. 35mm film and one-time use camera processing service includes a CD with your images or USB for an additional charge.

I’ve got two links for you:
Somehow I came upon Swan Photo. They will develop your 35mm film. So I mailed my film to them.
LINK /
But Swan said they couldn’t process my film because it was “special”, so they referred me to Film Rescue, who developed them and sent me a link to the developed image files.

They did a good job and got some pics from a birthday party for my sister and school field trip to St Augustine in the 1980s.

Have you tried google or just drove to CVS like a monkey dick was growing out of your head?

Wife said look online and there are people that you can ship it to to get it processed. Expensive

My local Walgreens has a drop off for disposable cameras.

Don't go to Walmart or any of the chain outlets. They will keep your negatives and possibly screw up your prints.
Try mailing your film to the Dark Room, They are fast, the prices are reasonable, and the service is reliable.

I found some Kodak discs that were undeveloped in my old high school box. You can search online and find places that still develop old film. It’s not outrageous.
I’m debating whether I should do it and if I do it’s definitely going to be on the down low.
