PSA--This little thing is awesome. Literally five minutes and you have the best breakfast sandwich ever. English muffins fit perfectly. Meat needs to be cooked ahead of time but it heats everything else through. Do yourself a favor and you won't be disappointed, I promise.

Here is one I made this morning. This one was egg, ham, spinach, tomato, and mozzarella.

I was actually very disappointed with it. What's the purpose of an appliance made for a specific purpose (making breakfast sandwich) if I have to use a different appliance to heat up the contents of it?

You can buy egg rings that can be thrown in a drawer to help make the sandwich.

No offense, but that looks nasty

When i worked at UL we would classify the lifespan of devices like this as 10 years. Use it a few times then put it in a kitchen cabinet…only to be removed 10 years later and thrown away.

Nate, I had one just like yours but I found it inadequate. So I bought the double version.
I LOVE THIS MACHINE.
I can make 2 sandwiches in the same time as 1 took before.
My only complaint is that if you want to use cheese slices like Kraft singles, you have to add them after heating, or they will melt too much.

Is hate cleaning these types of appliances. I only had a press for nostalgia reasons, since my grandmas used it, and it looked cool.

In honor of this thread I made an English muffin breakfast sandwich this morning. Foil lined pan for the bacon in the oven and one pan to cook the egg and toast the muffins in.
Tossed the foil after and cleanup was super quick.
So easy. I don’t understand why a machine is needed for this. But if people like it then let them enjoy it. To each their own.

I have the same sandwichmaker, but it's the Italian model.
