This presents quite a conundrum to me; representatives vote on our tax dollars, but based on information we aren’t allowed to see.
Well, that information was not serious enough that we would impose stricter sanctions of Russia, or that we would impose sanctions on China and India for buying Russian oil, or that we would impose sanctions on Iran for supplying Russia with weapons.
But it was serious enough to change Mike Johnson's mind.

I’m old enough to remember Colon Powell giving a presentation before the UN Security Council where he convinced the world (except France) that Iraq had Mobil WMD factories making nerve gas and that they were starting a nuclear weapons program.
We strongly supported a major invasion that proved to have been unnecessary.
I’ll never trust anything they tell us ever again.

Mike Johnson is weak and NOT what many think he is. Just watch his actions, what he has done since being speaker. He's done nothing meaningful that benefits the people who voted for him. Seems he's done much for the big money donors who have and will give him dollars. Same as the other 95% of Congress.

Russia has proven they don't have capabilities the past two years, therefore their intentions are nothing but bluster.
Russia certainly has some formidable nuclear capabilities and very modern payload delivery systems.
But yeah, other than that, they've got issues just handling an MIC-funded Ukraine army and some mercs. I'm actually impressed with the ferocity of Ukraine's defense, and not at all impressed with Russia's ground game. I mean, the Reds have already won, but it should've been an easily sweeping victory in just a few months. Maybe it would've been if not for all our tax money Congress threw at them.
Funny though, the only former USSR/Russian territory that the US has been heavily invested in is Ukraine. The same Ukraine that is tied to Burisma and the Bidens and many other politicians with great interests there. Why weren't we so hellbent on giving Crimea and Georgia assistance as well?... Ukraine is naught more than a globalist money laundering State.

Are you asking if the speaker of the house should disclose classified information to the general public?
Well technically we did pay for the gathering of it.
Mike Johnson is a chode, and has been a chode from day one.

Our pilots and troops in WWII partied pretty hard when they had the chance.

At the beginning ukraine had like the 4th largest army in the world.

We already know the intelligence agencies have a history of either making up info, or greatly exaggerating it. They are no longer trust worthy, and have proven they will fabricate info for political reasons

I am sure intelligence favor more funding. Democrats was behind it.

I think it shouldn’t be classified. They are telling us the conclusion the information should lead us to, why not share the information? Or at least specify how us knowing why Russia is so dangerous hurts national security.
It’s too easy to hide behind classification as an excuse for any action

The CIA and FBI would never make up something to show someone in power to convince him to further aid their insanity.
Never, especially not a fake Russian dossier. They would never do that.
I can't believe the idiots are falling for it, again.

last I heard he got on his knees and prayed to get guidance on whether or not he should provide foreign aid to Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan.
now he is claiming that he saw super secret intel on the Russo war machine.
I have no idea if these are true but they are perfectly compatible.

If it's legit, then disclosing the information would expose our sources/methods. Especially if there are incorrect details the Kremlin used to identify moles or bugged locations.

If you want to say Putin has a Machivellian purpose to this, there certainly is some evidence. Russia hit Ukraine with some older gear that we could stop, and that the Ukrainians resisted long and well enough to get us to send support. But with every new thing we send, that allows Russia to face and analyze it firsthand, without any threat to its own sovereign territory.
It IS costing troops, but that's never been a huge concern with the Russians.

I'm guessing they promised Mike more money than he could pass up.
It seems Ukraine is far more important than our country to our Government.

But isn’t this true for the US as well? We get to analyze Russian equipment and tactics with literally zero loss of US servicemen.

What do you think he saw? Russia’s military might, lol. There is no excuse for us to be involved in Ukraine. The two excuses we’ve been given are both false. Ukraine is not a democracy and there’s 0 chance Putin attempts to move through Europe because it’s clear he can’t. The entire thing is a scam.

That classified information? Nudes Russia has proven they don't have capabilities the past two years, therefore their intentions are nothing but bluster.
If Russia had all this expansive capability then why haven’t they used it? Why are they getting their butts kicked by farmers and peasants? And we aren’t talking about farmers with 72 virgins waiting for them.
