Wolves are smart and know how to work as a team, but 5 silverbacks is a lot to handle. I think silverbacks win, but not all of them survive.

I think they wolves could possibly take out one. They are like Hyenas, They will seek out and attack the weakest one, and barrage him. I think the gorilla's could and would take out a enough of the wolves that they would ultimately back off, but I still think the wolves get 1, possibly 2 of the apes.

3 silverbacks vs 15 wolves seems to be the most even challenge based on my multiple years sitting around the lunchroom table.

Silverbacks win. You can compare this to Grizzlies vs Wolves IMO, and grizzlies win that battle even against fairly large groups. Ofc they’re never fighting to the death, the wolves are smart enough to survive for another day

Grizzly. They out weigh gorillas, have really sharp claws, have a nasty bite and are thick as frick so they’re protected. Even large caliber firearms have trouble killing bears.
