We need to leave all these shitholes and let them descend into chaos. Not everyone is or should be inhabitable

Niger, please…..
can we have our guys back?

Niger apparently doesn’t fear any repercussions. Wonder why.

$500 million dollar military base and handing it over to the Russia.
After the failed withdrawal of Afghanistan, would carpet bomb the base back to 3rd world status. Leave nothing and any left is now rubble.

I’m so confused. What exactly is happening here? Is this a hostage situation or do they want us to leave?
Seems they are holding them on base without outsider access until they agree to desert the base, right?

And honestly why are we even in Niger and Chad?
While I tend to agree, Africa is way more strategically important than Ukraine.

Why exactly are we there in the first place? Do we really need to go to war with them because they don’t want us there?

I hope all of the countries around the world kick us out. We shouldn’t be there any way.

I get why Niger is being intolerable, but I didn't expect it from Chad. What the hell man.

How many people do they have? Do they have Russian help?

Explain why I should be upset about this. Americans have become a bunch a spoiled trash, offended by everything, men are women, women are men, we have freaks and weirdos in the top ranks of our military, administration, etc.
At this point, we deserve this.
At this point, we deserve this.

How in the actual frick does anyone “capture” a US military installation anywhere on earth and hold 1,000 American military personnel captive?

OK, if true, that’s a hostile act….and probably a really bad idea.
But at the same time, they have a point. If they’ve been expressing a desire for us to GTFO for a while, maybe they’re thinking they’re out of options.
In any event, the right course of action seems to be for us to leave. Why do we need marines on the ground in Africa in a world where carriers and long-range bombers exist?

With direct orders from the Pentagon to not engage/ Stand Down.

We have no business being in Niger. Shut it down.
