This is a direct result of poor management from the front office to the field. It's not these pitcher's fault. They have been put in untenable positions that requires talent to exit. Management has refused to recognize that the talent in the system is far below MLB standards.

The only situation this offense rises to meet is how they can frick up an inning. They'll deliver every possible anti scoring outcome with a runner on 3rd and less than 2 outs
Popout
Strikeout
Inning ending double play
frick, get picked off 3rd too.

This team really reminds me of the fried chicken Red Sox team. I know the pitching injuries are more than substantial, but still feels like they are living off past glory and couldn't care less.

Hello Astros fans, great, tough series, as always.

Genuinely in awe how allergic to winning they are. 0-4 now in one run games, now it's like 29-4 runs scored in 8th inning or later in favor of the opposition
No one clutches up, you get the big swing to get the two run lead Press immediately has the tying run on 2nd and shite arse Abreu does what he does. Next six batters go down in order with little battle. Get two outs in the 10th the opposing team that plays the right way gets the knock to give them the lead. They want no part of Tucker, Diaz drives a ball just didn't square it. Sinker changeup guy with the ground ball king up and he naturally just beats it into the ground. I'd rather it be 2013 getting absolutely shite pumped every night than watch a group that's won for a long time just not do the little things.

When you remove the blowouts, both for and against, we’ve lost every game but one that was close into the late innings and in just about every way possible.
The 150 ft 2 run double last night might have been my favorite.

0 chance we move our ghost runner after the Braves score theirs? We got our pop up bats locked in.
This is always the answer when we have a ghost runner...unless it's a GIDP!

Tomorrow is an off day. Perfect day to trim some fat off this roster. I can think of one guy who damn sure shouldn't be on the plane to Washington.

Good series Astros fans. Close games throughout. Back of the baseball card will eventually show up and get the ‘stros on track.

Thanks, maybe the Braves won't get deep dicked by their division rival in the division round again in the playoffs this year
But at least they'll be there

That's the third moron with power in the org that has said that in the last week. WATCH THE RESULTS IN FRONT OF YOU IDIOTS. He's the least competitive hitter in baseball

If these guys say "back of the baseball card" one more fricking time...
It's absurd at this point. Bagwell says it, Brown says it. Espada says it.

Dumb thing to say but his alternative is to throw the guy under the bus publicly. And he probably knows they’re not getting rid of Abreu because of the money involved. I don’t think it’s that Abreu doesn’t care. He’s just not a good player any more.
Overall, though, I’m less than impressed with Espada. He’s confirming the fears that he was passed over by other teams because they knew he’s not cut out to be a big-league manager.

Not so. Instead parroting this company line that this 37 year old is going to hit because he was great 10 years ago, he can level some honesty with us. "A 6-14 start isn't acceptable, we've all got to play better". Quit blowing smoke up our asses promising you're going to be great because past teams were great. What you are is 6-14 tire fire. What's your plan for getting out of it?
