when the schedule gets manageable
How in the sam hell does a schedule become "manageable" when this team can't hit its way out of a paper bag?
At least we won't be runruled today.

Anybody else laughing they have yet to manage a single HR in the SEC's smallest ball park?

Hopefully when the schedule gets manageable we will get some needed wins.
We should have found a few wins in the first half of SEC play, even if we weren't winning all of the series. But we have lost every series and been swept at Arkansas.
That's not even competitive.

for 5th year players, why do Travinski and Milazzo look lost at bat this year?
One of those guys is 3 for 6 this series.

The strikeout highlights showed just how big of a zone that POS Head gave their pitcher.

I didn’t expect a natty by any means but I expected way better than this
I don’t think anyone expected the worst start to SEC play in LSU history.

Seems like for as good as Herring has been, he has not been able to strand the runners he inherits. Might be better to have him come in to start clean innings in the future
Now, I don't have the numbers in front of me, but it does seem that way to me too. If the numbers prove that Herring gives up a good bit of inherited runners, then yeah, that's a very fair criticism of Jay. Let Ack or Guidry come get the final out, then let Herring come in to a clean inning. I know you don't want to burn either one of those guys in a close game that could go extra innings, but they'd be fine to go again tomorrow.
It may have been a gamble, but we are at a point, where we HAVE to gamble. Have to be willing to lose big to give yourself the best chance to win. Losing close counts just the same as losing big. If we lose 2-1 or 12-1, our conference record is 3-11 either way.
