Who could pinch hit for Milazzo that would do anything?
Posted on 4/13/24 at 6:25 pm to LSUJML

It really sucks when you’re so pumped up before the season starts, only to get this result so far. I didn’t expect a natty by any means but I expected way better than this

dont think anyone was expecting him to come out after that K, against a good hitter.
I wasn't but did think it was a possibility.

He had given up 2 hits to that point. He
Both in that inning, though, and a pretty hard-hit foul on the batter he struck out.

He was at only 91 pitches, it was a bad move
And if he gave up a long ball or even that same hit the chorus would have been that he should have been pulled because he had allowed 2 hits in the inning and was at 91 pitches anyway.
You know how this place is, Josh.

Neal isn’t even hitting .100 in SEC play. It’s .067

If Hollman was left in and gave up that hit people would be mad Herring didn’t come in to face the lefty. We’re losing because we can’t hit with runners on base, not for bringing in a pitcher who has dominated this year
100%. Holman was just about done. Given up some really hard contact the last couple of innings, we just happened to have been positioned perfectly. But like 2 batters ago, he gave up a piss rod that was 116 off the bat. He wasn't the same Holman he was in the 1st few innings. It's easy to criticize the decision after you see the result. I may have left Holman in, but it was about a 50/50 call either way.
But yeah, our offense is why we're losing this game, not because Jay brought in Herring.

Tommy's allergic to hitting when people are on base.

Posted on 4/13/24 at 6:30 pm to LSUJML
