I believe Biden is weak. A faction in the state department and national security apparatus is committed to preventing escalation at the expense of everything else. The Republican stonewalling on Ukraine is well known. What's less known is the administration's own efforts to keep Ukraine from fully defending itself. They've also let the Houthi situation fester and now are trying to hamstring Israel in its dealings with Gaza.
They didn't want escalation and now they have escalation on all fronts. Weak, yes. I don't see any merit to the warmongering accusation though. Quite the opposite. If they wanted war they would have done a lot of things differently. But as so often happens in history, in trying to prevent war at all costs, they got exactly what they tried to avoid.

Before President Biden makes any public comments regarding Iran’s attack, I hope he consults with leaders of the potential voters in Michigan and Minnesota to make sure he’s not too disrespectful to all those wonderful people.
