I met Kevin Spacey once when I was 16. No expense spared to fly me first class out to Hollywood. That night at his house, we had a drink (he called it Jesus Juice). I don’t remember the rest of that night, but the next day, I was on a flight home and my butthole hurt.

Went fishing with the band Alabama when I was 14. They were great and nice. My mom met Charlie Daniels and rod Stewart. She didn't know who rod Stewart was so he started singing Maggie May to her. She told him she thinks she heard that before.

I've met basically all the 2005 Yankees by staying in their hotel when we'd travel to see them. Sat down for a very brief time at a dinner table with Derek Jeter and Jorge Posada when I was 11 and wanted their autograph. The hostess was telling us to leave, and Derek Jeter was like "They're kids. Let them come over and talk to us." Always extremely nice guy in terms of giving kids autographs. Alfonso Soriano was also a very nice guy and always stopped for autographs. Mike Mussina and Mariano Rivera were opposite. They rarely signed anything. A Rod signed a lot. Ruben Sierra did too. I gave Ruben Sierra a Fleer baseball card of him to sign, he sat down and spent like 30 minutes looking at his stats on the back of the card. Thought that was kind of funny.

Also, I was at a urinal that was right next to Girard Butler. He was in Shreveport filming a movie and was at the Cotillion event I was at. He was hitting on Ms. Louisiana that was there at the time, she was like 21. He was 43.

Charles Barkley.

Back in '99, we were out in Buckhead (Atlanta) celebrating my boy's bachelor party. We see Chuck walking down the street so stop to say hello. I tell him it's dude's bachelor party and next thing I know, Chuck puts his arm around dude's shoulders, walks him to the side, and has a brief conversation with him. They come back, we tell him it was nice meeting him, and go our own ways.

We are dying to hear what Chuck told our boy....."ya see, men and women are like cats and dogs, they just don't belong together......". He apparently went on a mini, drunken diatribe about how my boy shouldn't get married lol

My son played on a baseball team with 2 time Superbowl Champ.

My wife and i went to Freniers Landing and sat at the bar next to some guy who said he played in a bunch of made for TV movies.

I had a really odd dream not that long ago that I ran into Tom Brady at his TB12 store on Boylston which isn't even open anymore and we got tot talking and he opened up that he doesnt have many true friends and we bonded, became golf buddies and ended up becoming good pals.

I think I might try to slide in his DMs to see if he shared the same dream.

Peyton Manning at a dinner near Universal in Orlando. He was meeting a few golfers there and walked in while we were waiting on a table. Was super cool and talked with us for like 5-10 minutes. This was back in his Broncos days.

At a quarterback camp I got to eat breakfast with Jameis Winston. A super genuine dude.

Threw some passes in the offseason to Andre Johnson, and Emmanuel Sanders when they were still in the league.

Allegedly I met George HW Bush at his library when I was like 5 according to my grandpa.

Played some roulette at like 3 AM with Dak Prescott at the nugget which was awesome.

Not me, but George W Bush spent the night with my in-laws. He and my FIL got shitfaced drunk. MIL wasn’t too pleased with them.

Other than politicians, I can’t think of any major celebrity I’ve met.

Met Shaq at LSU basketball camp summer of 1993. He took a picture with me but said no autographs today…

Met Troy Aikman at a gas station in Plano—we were both buying beer. He game me an autograph.

David Allan Coe on his bus after a concert in College Station. He signed a dollar bill I had and I spent it later that night.

Marcus Spears several times.
Nick Jonas
Michael Irvin
Jerry Stackhouse
Kirk Herbstreit
Desmond Howard
Coach Corso
Ross Perot
Willie Nelson

I’m sure there are more, but brain is blurry from last night.

If you act like a regular person, you'll usually have a regularly acting celebrity.

When I was in 6th grade, we kept our horses at Hammersmith Farm in Newport, RI (Dad was at the Naval War College). Hammersmith was owned by Hugh Auchincloss, who was married to Jacqueline Kennedy's mother.

The gardener's house was nicer than most homes. The stable was nicer than any home I've ever lived in.

There was a huge mansion. JFK, Jr. and Caroline Kennedy came to visit. JFK, Jr. rode a go cart all around the estate. He and I engaged in a "who could walk the top board of the white fence" the longest. My mom, Janet Auchincloss, and Caroline Kennedy would go riding.

Hugh Auchincloss gave me a ride one day in his Rolls-Royce LOL. If I went riding, passing tour buses would stop and tourists would take my picture.

The stables (I'm sitting on one of the horses)

Dad riding Lahaina (horse we bought in Hawaii) by a guest "lighthouse" by Naragansett Bay.

Met Eli and Payton Manning as a kid

Bruce Pearl walked through our AAU team meeting outside of nationals to go scout Austin Rivers

Not the type that cares to geek over other adults.

I sat next to Jaws from the bond movies on a plane once. I am 6ft4 (low key brag) and rarely feel short… I felt short. He also had on sandals and a Hawaiian shirt, I am not longer terrified of him like I was as a kid

Was at The Masters in 2000 with my HS gf and we'd walked ahead of Tiger a few holes so we could get a good spot when he teed off. We were standing next to a tree pretty squeezed in and just as Tiger is walking up this guy pushes in beside me and it's Emmitt Smith. He's trying to act inconspicuous but he and his wife are wearing matching white track suits and she's got a ring on the size of a cue ball. Tiger looks over and points at Emmitt and like an idiot I pointed right back like it was intended for me.
