“I used to teach the Second Amendment in law school … From the very beginning, there were limitations. You couldn’t own a cannon!” Biden said.
This dude is a fricking lying piece of shite and I will cheer the day he dies.

After 17 years as an adjunct professor, Biden retired from his role as a Constitutional law educator when he accepted President Barack Obama’s offer to join the Democratic ticket as his vice presidential running mate.

Egads! Did he really say all that?
Color me sceptical-- this has got to be a fabrication. That doesn't even look or sound like the real Biden POTUS

One of his former Senate staffers told the story that he asked biden one time why he lied so much, wasn't he worried about getting caught? biden's answer : " People have short memories. They'll forget whatever I say in less than a week". He just didn't / doesn't care. And this being in his Senate days, he's been lying for decades & decades.

So there.
Our POTUS has perfected the ART of lying. And in such a declaration, the lie has effectively become stripped of any ethical or moral qualities.

Not only could you own a cannon, you could own a ship with a bunch of them on it.

Isn’t this the truth! He/she responds back with a “whataboutism” and then comments negatively about doing the same thing

Like most rights, the right secured by the Second Amendment is not unlimited. From Blackstone through the 19th-century cases, commentators and courts routinely explained that the right was not a right to keep and carry any weapon whatsoever in any manner whatsoever and for whatever purpose.

Had an attorney friend that said he spoke at one of their classes and said he was a duffus.
This was long ago.

Does it ever get old holding silly political positions because of your sexual orientation?

The Gatling gun was first used in warfare during the American Civil War. Twelve of the guns were purchased personally by Union commanders and used in the trenches during the Siege of Petersburg, Virginia (June 1864—April 1865).[31] Eight other Gatling guns were fitted on gunboats.[32] The gun was not accepted by the American Army until 1866 when a sales representative of the manufacturing company demonstrated it in combat
