LSP isn't wanting to give up that money. Landry focused on National Anthem, not tax cuts or less state fees for taxpayers.

Dammit.
I guess I'll pay the 20 buck tax since I'm 3 months overdue. I waited on this bill to fail to get it done.

Oh, look, Texas acting like adults unlike Huey Long's legacy. Shocked.

Some of y’all thought Landry was different……

I remember one of JBE’s arguments against getting rid of inspection stickers the last time this came up- something like hundreds of small businesses that are certified inspection centers across the state are counting the selling of the, at most, few hundred $10-$20 inspection stickers they sell a year to stay in business and that it could be an economic disaster if the state got rid of the requirement

1. Looking out of the little guy
2. They are one of us
3. They get our culture
Insert your excuses for the failure of the state if you like.

The same people who thought Jeff Landry would push this through are the same ones who think Trump is fighting for them.

State Rep. Larry Bagley, R-Stonewall, took his bill that would remove inspection stickers down Monday.
So explain what this has to do with Landry?
Larry wants it gone but doesn’t want the police to lose money.
So let’s hear your idea.

The bill is shelved for the time being but there is a possibility it could be taken up again this session.
Also I did not vote Landry. But y’all are going to need something more when you want to cry about showing respect for 2 fricking minutes out of your day.

$5 of each license renewal goes to the cops. That was hard.
That means they're holding something else, probably involving construction of roads over his head. He's still a pussy.

The inspection sticker is no real burden for me, but the inspections are sort of a joke in many locations.

Yeah I would rather send them 10 bucks a year and not have to fool with waiting in line for a joke inspection.

They are so mad about him being anti groomers they have Landry derangement syndrome.

Just add 10 bucks to the license and be done with the stickers. It isn’t even about the money for me it’s the bullshite of having to go get a sticker

My mechanic buddy said this would create a nightmare to get your emissions approval.
He said no shops would want to do it and you would have to go to the state to do it.

Does this apply to brake tags too?

Landry is a fricking idiot and will probably end up being worse than JBE.
