The storm hasn't even made it there yet, how did you come up with this assumption?

So far so good in BR. I have heard just a little bit of thunder.

Same here off Coursey Blvd. The bad weather is coming in from the west, just not here yet.

Shoutout to WAFB for telling people that using hazard lights in a storm is prohibited

That Golden Meadow Cell has broad area of rotation and will be knocking on the door soon.

It shouldn't be going over 50 mph anyway. They would for sure try to give it a ticket.

Anyone else’s ears pop in southwest BR or is that just me? I wasn’t sure if it’s from a pressure drop or something.

TMSY shows clear rotation in the storm south of New Orleans. Likely will be tornado warned soon

I’m 24 floors up looking out the window. It’s surreal watching a storm like this move through with this view

Worst of it was north of Lafayette in St Landry and Pointe Coupee. I imagine that’s going north of Baton Rouge and Hammond towards McComb and Brookhaven.

Storm knocked out my internet and my mobile is too slow to reliably load the radar apps to see what’s hitting New Orleans and Baton Rouge.

Down in Da Parish it’s currently darker than we ever saw from the eclipse.
