Banner Ford Service in Mandeville is horrendous.

Eddie Tourelle's Northpark Nissan In Covington is very good.

The answer is one that their service advisor is NOT trying and upsell you something everytime you visit. Knowing they're NOT needed.

Lexus Baton Rouge...pretty awesome.
I agree. Part of the reason why Lexus is great is that they are a "low" volume dealer when compared to 95 % of other dealerships. They can focus on service.
The other non-premium dealerships can't always do that, plus they don't necessarily emphasize the customer experience like Lexus does.
And if one is truly "needing" service, I recommend finding a quality mechanic shop.
In Baton Rouge, Highland Car Care and K&M Automotive are two trusted mechanic shops that I use for anything maintenance related and not covered under warranty.

I'll knock the Mandeville Ford service dept as well. I went there twice and they couldn't help both times.... the first was for an oil change. The second was for a new battery... baw gimme the battery and a wrench and I'll take care of it.
Porsche Shreveport is awesome though.

Lexus in Metairie has always been punctual and good with offering a loaner car.
I’ve even dropped a vehicle there for service and they’ve taken me to the airport, when I flew back in, they picked me up from the airport and i picked up my car.
Are you going to pay a premium for service there? Sure.
It ain’t a WalMart Auto Service Center.

Don Rich Ford in Villa Rica, GA had an excellent service department as does Mini Cooper - Mall of Georgia in Buford, GA.
Not that this information is any good for anyone living in Louisiana. But yes, there are at least two that are decent and honest.

You are buying the wrong vehicles. High end dealerships have high end service departments too.
Try the Rolls Royce or Ferrari service department. I bet both perform especially well.
Going cheap for your mass production vehicle and service geared to serving the masses you SHOULD expect no better than fast food service, same customer base after all.

No. The financial metrics they use and warranty pay out processes make "good" impossible to attain for long term.

Normal or luxury brand, they’re all terrible!

Where exorbitant costs are openly expected. You can get great service at any ford dealership as well if you walk in with an open checkbook.
Clearly not what op was talking about.

Correct answer. Don't need an appointment, I just call and they pick up my vehicle and leave a loaner.

Talking with a friend today, they have a Hyundai, it’s losing a qt every 1,000 miles. What a POS.
The Mrs. VW drops a quart about every 2,000 miles. It doesn't smoke or blow it out the exhaust and there aren't any leaks. where the heck does it go?

Bad rings.
They didn't heat treat the rings properly, so it's "burning" the oil.
ETA: the above is the issue with the Hyundais. Your issue could be similar, or it could just be wear.

Yes. Toyota dealership in Conway, Ar. is superb. I no longer trust private grease monkeys who claim they can fix anything under the hood. It was a costly lesson.

Wrong! Read the thread title. OP asked for “any” and only limited to being on the planet. High end customized handmade vehicle dealerships require their service department to be highly functional.
Most dealerships have the masses as the target market, same as Walmart or McD. To expect a mass market geared business to perform better than merely adequate is an unreasonable expectation whether it is vehicles or hamburgers. Superior product/service requires a superior investment by both buyers and sellers.

Its a 2013 VW with about 70k miles on it. Have only noticed the missing oil for the past 6-8,000 miles. Always thought there would be a smoky exhaust trail it it was burning it. Doesn't have any abnormal smells, fumes, smoke etc.

The service department at my local small town Ford dealer is top notch. It helps that there isn’t much employee turnover.

We take my wife's Lexus to Sewell of Fort Worth - they are fantastic!
