Lucky for Steider he already got his $75M extension. Bieber will be hitting free agency this upcoming offseason

$75 million to sit out…. A shame he is hurt but these contracts are insane for starting pitchers that only throw 5 innings a start no matter how well they are doing.

Is it even worth it to give a starting pitcher a long term contract anymore? It feels like every pitcher is just gonna miss significant time with injuries now.

Bauer is being blackballed, but the man can pitch. And more than a few raging assholes have occupied MLB dugouts.
