And players such as Mookie Betts have come out saying how they have no issues with Bauer and he was a good teammate.

Of course he's going to say that publicly. That and Mookie is a classy guy so I wouldn't expect anything less.

There’s also been a report that MLB has info about more situations involving Bauer than the one that caused the headlines.

I've heard the same.

SteelersBravesDawg seems like a hot-headed person who holds petty grudges against people he doesn't know.

It's very sad as TB was the victim in this situation and it has cost him a great deal.

Why would a team deal that level of player except that he was an absolute pain in the arse in the clubhouse and it was starting to take its toll?
well, bc Mr Bauer was approaching his final year of arbitration, which would have resulted in a $20MM salary. moreover, he was unwilling to sign a long term contract with the Indians and would have most assuredly bolted as a Free Agent following the 2020 season.

Again, if you can't play for Tito Francona, than there is a problem. Why else would a playoff team, which Cleveland was in 2019, they won 93 games, ship off their #2 starter for a washed-up Puig?

Cleveland wasn't a playoff team in 2019, and apparently you haven't been paying attention to how that franchise has operated for the last 20 years. They traded him because they knew they wouldn't be able to re-sign him. They've done that with a lot of guys over the years. Corey Kluber, Francisco Lindor, CC Sabathia, Cliff Lee, etc.

They were probably going to trade Shane Bieber this summer for that same reason until he blew out his elbow. Triston McKenzie will be the next one they trade before the end of his arbitration years.

If Mookie Betts says Bauer is a good teammate, that's enough for me. I'll take his opinion over someone who clearly still believes the bullshite woman beater story.

He's a POS.

Like Ink said, MLB has dirt on him that every team knows about, thus why he hasn't been signed yet. It'll come to light eventually, but then we'll probably still have people simping for him b/c they'll still view him as a victim.

Mookie has nothing to gain by saying anything positive about Bauer.

Fair.

But Mookie would never throw anyone under the bus. It's just not who he is.

Did he volunteer that Bauer was a good teammate, or was he asked? If asked, he could have easily declined to answer, given that Bauer is still controversial.

I'm not sure.

But MLB is sitting on even more allegations against him on top of him being a clubhouse cancer.

You guys really need to start simping for him. He's toxic.

Well, since MLB is sitting on them, we don't know how toxic he is.
