Man I’m glad it’s not just me . He’s atrocious with baseball .

Personally I like him for baseball
I do think the broadcast would be better if someone different were with him

He’s so delayed on every call

I listen a decent amount in the car. He's not good. Sometimes what sounds like a simple fly ball to the outfield is suddenly a homer. A ball hit and the play is basically over before I even have the slightest idea of what's happening.

I listen while fishing often. If it’s a long inning, I will sometimes go 20 minutes without hearing the score
I feel like he doesn’t have the flow with baseball. He is excellent for basketball

It's impossible to follow the game with the way he describes it. 1)he'always late 2)his description of the action is poor

Blair is better than 99% of most other schools' announcers, and that's not homerism. I've heard MANY others. People on here act like if we don't have Keith Jackson circa 1988 then we have the worst voice in all of broadcast athletics.

He’s not Uecker, but I don’t mind his call .

Blair is great. We are lucky to have him.
Try listening to other school broadcasts….Could not stand listening to Eli Gold.

I don't think he's bad at announcing what's going on, he just brings no creativity, authenticity or natural energy. It's like listening to AI generated announcing.
I guess some people are into that.

Who else are you listening to
Tulane & UNO’s guys are both better. And UNO’s guy describes himself as a blogger on his linkden

Finally we agree on something. He never gives the score update and during the play by play he’s usually dead silent until seconds after the action. He’s solid in the other sports but he’s really bad calling baseball.

Very good at football, ok at baseball, Hanny & Jim were the goat duo for baseball.

If he would say the score more often and not rearrange words to make the action hard to understand he'd be so much better. For instance, that ball is smoked in there for strike 2. WTF, guy?!?
