Who thinks that groceries and crap from Lowes will be cheaper when Trump's elected?

Personally I have no idea if groceries and crap from Lowe's will be cheaper two years from now, because I don't have a time machine and economics is hard and I'm the furthest thing from an expert.
But does anyone here think that groceries and crap at Lowes will be cheaper two years from now? That seems to be the hope for a lot of voters.

He won't be able to accomplish anything about inflation.

Correct.
This inflation and economic malaise was going to hit no matter who was President this term. Covid created some major inflation and popped some bubbles created by a decade of ZIRP inflation policy.
We may only just be beginning to feel the inflation from Biden's spending, which is the scary part.

No. We'd need deflation which would be bad as well.
Trump is a big spender, so it's not like we won't still be printing a bunch of money.

Likely not. I don't see deflation happening.
However, Biden is as determined as I have ever seen anyone be to continue doing things to keep it rising.

Most voters are low information voters and therefore stupid about these things. That's a surprise to you?

Trump’s CARES Act started inflation.
Biden and the libs threw a match onto it.

What’s done is done. The money is printed.
But you can slow it down, then work to decrease prices and increase GDP with policy.

It's possible.
Reagan turned things around when he took over from Carter.

I think the increase between now and 2 years form now will be less under Trump than under Joe.
No one can project negtive inflation, but we can hope for smaller annual inflation, which is a reasonable expectation under DJT!

It’s not like Congress will slow down on their own either. POTUS can only spend what Congress allots.

We have to grow the money supply to pay for SS and Medicare. Any idea that doesn't change those programs won't amount to much.

It will stop going up by near as much at this rate.
We’ve seen higher rates of inflation than since the 80s since Biden took over.
Ironically, the Fed fricked with interest rates under Trump claiming the economy was getting too superheated. And now we are here between Feds fricking with rates and Biden’s poppetmasters fricking with inputs like oil and labor.

No
But the country needs a downturn and a bit of stagflation over the next 5-6 year period. This administration has destroyed the dollar.

Anyone on here thinking we are going back to 2019 prices or cost of goods/labor if Trump is elected is a certified moron.

Possibly. Trump will allow more drilling and America to become the dominant force in energy which will lower fuel costs. Lower fuel costs can lower the price of products.
He also will eliminate hurdles that are causing supply chain issues, making products more plentiful and thus, lowering demand and price.
So yes, it could possibly be cheaper.

This seems to be a favorite rant of yours. We get it about every other week.

Marginally.
This is like the argument Trump can save SS by growing our economy.
Theoretically? Possible.
Realistic? No. The numbers are too big.

Correct and it is scary. Trump kick started the inflation with unneeded out of control spending and Biden only proceeded to throw gasoline on the fire.
