Having spent over a month in a NICU and PICU last year, I can only imagine how those nurses would react.

Having a lot of down time to chat it up with them, some would nearly shake with anger talking about watching those babies struggle.

These people are just filth.

The scariest thing to me is a hospital a family member used to work at extended the drug panel to include fentanyl for newborns if they are in drug withdrawal .They need to know what the baby has been exposed to. They test positive for fentanyl at a rate higher than 90%. I’m sure the mothers aren’t all taking fentanyl intentionally, but there are trace amounts of fentanyl in all illegal drugs

Once again they show us that black lives really don't matter.

And if they don't matter to them, they damn sure don't matter to me.

Seems like a time for a Harambe reminder. Don't neglect your kids by having them start off life on drugs or let them go in cages at the zoo.

”Disproportionately affects X” = “stereotypes exist for a reason.”

Same reason that reporting shoplifting is racist.

1st reply is absolutely spot on.

I'm tired of paying a disproportionate amount of taxes and missing out on the disproportionate benefits doled out to illegals and cultural losers

No. The news clip used "pregnant people", so I just ran with it. Also, this board loves bitching about shite like that, so I figured I'd give some folks a nice start to their day.

I actually agree with the wording of “birthing people” in this discussion. Women that choose drugs over their babies well being are not mothers
