Gotta be OT there, right? So, of the likely OT available when we pick at 14, which is your most and least favorite? And why?

I like Fashanu best at 14, because he seems more like a natural left tackle. I think the Saints could trade down 5-6 spots and still get quite a few of those guys.
Mims is intriguing.
I don’t have a least favorite. I just think some will be available in the 20’s and I don’t want to draft them too high. Would rather get them later and also get an extra late-round pick.

Trade down twice in first and get Mims RT.

Could work lol

...but if its a left tackle the Saints want at 14 Olu is hands down the best at pass protection.

I wouldn’t be able to pass on Latham. He has a higher ceiling than Alt imo. Fautanu is my favorite because of his character, athleticism, and versatility. I would avoid Mims at all costs, he hasn’t proven himself.

Not Mims his scouting report sounds too much like what they were saying about Penning and we all know that’s not working out

Mims would be a reach at 14 but any one of the others would be a solid pick.

Mims seems to have the most bust potential, but a really high ceiling. I'd only want him in a trade down scenario. The other 4 are all fine with me. I'd probably rank Latham a rung below Olu and Fuaga. Fautanu might be the safest pick, but could end up at guard and I don't like the idea of picking a guard at 14.

Fashanu all day.

Saints should pray that he is there at 14.

JC Latham

Fashanu has kitten sized paws and can’t move anyone off the ball. Once Latham gets a hold on you, you are at HIS mercy.

Hopefully there is a run on the QBs and other skill positions that will allow us to trade back and get a little bit of a draft haul. We need to get some talent back into the roster.

Draft the Polynesian from Oregon State. Those guys have so much brute strength, and they play with such a mean streak.

Which one is a Willie Roaf clone? That would be the one to draft.

Fashanu or Fuaga

Whoever is available bc I doubt both would be. Slight edge to Fashanu in that situation
