It’s more strange that a 17 yo is hunting for Easter eggs tbh

Kids should know the truth and then go work in the mines.

Whatever, they have plenty of time to realize the harsh realities of life as an adult. You're only a kid once.

Although 10 is getting up there for imaginary holiday characters. Santa seemed plausible when I was a kid, but never a huge rabbit (always kinda freaked me out) and a Tooth fairy was dumb.

Why is a 17 year old still participating in Easter egg hunts? Unless he’s helping a toddler, he’s too old for that shite

You thinking you're the most important poster here and the site depended on you.

Naw.

Messaged boards existed before me, before TD, and will go on after both. I don't even post on the majority of boards on this site.

Hell, with my changing personal investments, I don't even post about sports that much anymore.

You've historically been one of the most arrogant posters on this site.

Confident more than arrogant. I think something that messes with people's perception is they think that I'm a lot more pervasive than I am. I stay in my lane for the most part. Like I was saying above...don't follow CFB that much in depth? Then I don't post about it in nearly the same authoritative manner. As I told someone on the MSB, I'm a casual fan and don't get into the details much.

I primarily focus on the political and movie boards b/c I still have a lot of depth in those areas.

The OT is mostly dead due to demographics and the proliferation of so many specialized boards. It was bad enough when kids stopped filling the rosters around 2010 or so, but 2016 was devastating to the demographics. The median age has SHOT UP since then.

Asap thread? You know that's not what I'm talking about.

Of course its not because it doesn't fit in the narrative.

Here is a list of my OT threads

Find me the "Now he is back to the I can't just blend in. I have to have an act or reputation on here. " threads on that list.

And are we really bragging about making girl posters cry? Come on

Wasn't a brag.

And most of them became close friends once they realized the errors of their ways

Precisely.

I understand defending your kid’s mistake against to your SIL but saying the above just makes you and your wife sound like douchebags.

This too. You are douchebags once again.

We didn't know that my nephew still believed. It wasn't said with malice, it was just a comment.

This is on SIL for not telling us her kid still believed in the easter bunny. We would have told our kids to be mindful of that.

No. You can confirm something subconsciously and have no insight into why or how it satisfies you.

That’s only like a 10 year old. Pretty plausible to still believe at that age.

I'm starting to worry about my kid's development if they're about to enter middle school and they're not calling bullshite on a human sized rabbit that delivers candy all over the world.

Oh it very much did, I don't care much for my SIL.

She's the typical suburban stay at home wife who loves the latest MLM trend, incessantly posts videos of her working out on IG, etc.
