Did she really feel they were u fair to the Bruins? Betts ran through Morrow who had been in place for 2 secs and they called the foul on Morrow. I’m not saying it was great officiating, but if definitely didn’t seem we were the beneficiary’s.

Both teams got in deep foul trouble, it was just a whistle happy crew

There was a lot of terrible officiating in men’s and women’s yesterday. That Clemson/Bama game had some phantom calls and then swallowed their whistle when it became tackle football

The game had 45 fouls called. Thats a hard watch. Regardless of side you are on.
It was about even being ticky tack for both sides

She didnt say it was unfair to ucla, maybe she thought it was also a bit much for a high level basketball game

Every coach thinks the missed calls and miscalled fouls benefitted the other team. Fans are even worse.

I didn't see any UCLA players with bloody faces like HVL, Reese, and Morrow.

Their 11-0 run to take the lead at the end of the third quarter was directly correlated with the officials calling I think 3 phantom offensive fouls on LSU in a row.

It was clear we were pulling away and the officials just couldn’t let that happen. That was the most egregious part of the game when it comes to the officials. UCLA coach can’t complain.

Yep, spot on. Other than that stretch, it was just a whistle happy crew for both sides.

The worse is when the refs anticipate a foul. Surprised Flau'jea didn't get called on her block at the end of the game. These are the type of plays refs anticipate a foul occuring

I said this yesterday but college basketball coaches should have a certain number of foul challenges for plays that are so egregious, they should be overturned. You can’t have your best players get into foul trouble due to phantom foul calls, much like the one on Morrow.

Agree.. like the foul called near the end of the game on Morrow under the basket and the replay clearly showed Morrow never touched the opposing player.. again, an anticipated call…another phantom call was 3 LSU players all facing the goal looking up for a defensive rebound and the UCLA player comes flying in between them and they called a foul on LSU…WHY??.. there was no contact between the LSU players and the UCLA player.. another anticipated call.. But, of course, the typical board jackasses that say the officiating was bad both ways tend to ignore the one sided physicality.

This is fact. They didn't even show the replay of those foul calls.

If you watch WBB the refereeing never measures up to the level of play.

That’s what pissed me off. Every ticky tack call against UCLA got scrutinized in slow motion. Every ticky tack call against us didn’t show a replay. Some were probably the right call, but now we’ll never know.

The game was horribly officiated but seemed to be horrible for both sides at least

The “best” officials call the men’s games.

Look how bad they are.

WBB doesn’t have a shot
