Damn.

I feel old. I was 13 in '94. I'd go back there in a heartbeat.

It’s the opposite kid, don’t trust anything from after 2000 when news became fake. As we recently learned, even doctors have sold out to the engineered narratives.

Social media would tell people smearing mustard on their face is the hot trend, and millions would do it. Everything is controlled.

I was a teen in 1994 and this is what I remember (might be different from what a 40 year old remembers):

Kurt Cobain's suicide was, without a doubt, the #1 story:

Weezer Blue album

Clinton/Gore were in WH

My girlfriend wore denim jumpers like this:

Other girls wore mom jeans. These Gen Z'ers think they invented mom jeans, they are wrong:

Half the baws at school rolled around in S-10's:

As for SEC football, Spurrier and Florida were on top and it looked like no one was ever gonna stop them:

The 1994 LSU/Auburn interception game. LSU had a world class coach in Curly Hallman, but AU was having none of it and returned 3 INT's for TD's.

As an aside, you know you're old when you put "1990's fashion" into google images and it returns nothing but Gen Z'ers trying to reenact the style. It's hard to find authentic photos from the era outside of a couple of celebs.

Hell, I would just be happy that my students wrote an email that was coherent, with a proper salutation line, no less.

I was a SO/JR in high school in 94. The 90s was the last good decade.

If anyone cares, STP’s new singer is Weiland reincarnated minus the heroin addiction. So we’ve got that going for us, which is nice.

1994 was a great year. So much great music and movies. There were probably more good movies released in 1994 than in the last 10 years combined.
