She's a Stanford professor who is responsible for the new California Math Framework — a set of curriculum recommendations that advocate against teaching algebra to most of the state's gifted middle-schoolers in the name of equity.
She's also an academic fraud and a hypocrite who sends her kid to a private school, where Middle Schoolers are taught ***drum roll*** algebra.

It really is kind of amazing that in a generation they’ve managed to completely besmirch what used to be one of the most lauded and respected professions.
I remember in the 90s when it surfaced that Ninov had been falsifying data for his research. It sent shockwaves through the entire physics community. They rescinded his PhD, there were investigations into his university (I believe it was Berkeley at the time), even his committee members came under fire. Anything and everything he had ever touched was questioned and everyone did everything they could to distance themselves from him.
Now, those kinds of people have become the heads of some of the most prestigious universities in the world.

The “gifted” kids? Shouldn’t the “gifted” kids be able to handle algebra? Is her end game, in the name of equity, to stifle the education of the gifted kids so that they end up equally stupid with the dumbasses? This makes no sense, but none of this equity crap makes any sense.
