What publicly traded company supplies the replacement glass for those solar panels because I'm ready to invest!

Damn, that’s a serious problem

Hail in TX? I know it's near Lake Jackson, and not in North Texas, but who would have thought? Complete shock.

Hail plays hell on solar panels. Almost as bad as the damage it causes to pipelines.

They should now open it up as a gun range. Shoot out 3 panels in 3 shots no range fee.

Good for those worthless frickhead landowners. I hope the solar company claims force majeure and rolls out of there, leaving it a wasteland. Greedy bastards ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconAngry.gif)

In their defense, who could have foreseen hailstorms in Texas?

What poster was it that said it was basically impossible to damage solar panels?

I'm just glad we can get rid of those small well pads that alter the environment.

Imagine what a hurricane could do to those rather fragile solar plates.

So you telling me…wind turbines in the Gulf of Mexico might be a bad idea?

Your tax $ will be used to replace them. As it was used to lease/buy the land and install it.

Holy shite look at all that prime ag land.
A envirofreak democrat is the stupidest son of a bitch to ever walk this planet.

So converting a gazillion acres of viable land to solar panel farms has potential drawbacks???? I'm shocked.

It isn't like Texas has large hail often. Most people in North and West Texas are likely to never pay for a roof without insurance $. Sherman Tx had a hailstorm in 1996 and in 2003 that bought me a new roof.
Who thought glass panels wouldn't get hail damaged at some point?
