Frankly, this isn’t a good ballclub.

All this talent to suck at every thing

For how well LSU has been recruiting, this team sucks

If the hitting and pitching doesn’t r an improve you can forget about a regional.

It’s apparent Jay can’t win with a team without any of Paul’s players

This team has no heart

Quite frankly, coaching decisions this season have been abysmal.
Neal at right, Kling starting at Cf. Both can't hit worth a shite. Hurd gives up a go-ahead HR and you keep him in to get roped. They should just focus on trying to do the simple things right.

It’s frustrating for sure. Can’t drop a series at home with what’s on the horizon schedule wise. Goes to show you what an all-world pitcher and center fielder can do for a team.

Last night was infuriating.

So much positivity, lol. I would qualify your comment by saying right now they are bad. They have the ability to improve and probably will. How much is the key.

No it isn't! I expect them to get better in the second half of the SEC Season, largely because of the schedule. The big Question right now is how far under .500 in SEC we will be by then and will we even be in the Top 25?

Agreed
Even when a weaker team gives you a win(last night) but u dont successfully smother a dirtball 3rd strike and leads to a run and the very mext inning you give up a leadoff walk which lead to a run to tie game. Then you lose in extra. Lsu should have won series last night. From what i saw in preseason, i thought lsu would go 13-17/14-16 at best. Play the freshman

If LSU wouldn’t have given the game away last night this thread would not be here.
All that really matters is you win enough to get you in good position for May then play your best baseball.

I mean we gave up 5 runs in the first 18 innings
hitting needs to show up.
too many holes.

The key to the season was Brady Neal, Paxton Kling and Jared Jones taking another step going into their Soph year.
"The biggest jump a player has is from Y1 to Y2"
Jones has done his part, Neal & Kling are pretty much the same players as they were last year. Jay was very much depending on them making a jump.
