OP didn’t mean to engage in a theoretical discussion of the embodied experiences of Deion’s coaching tenure.
The hell I didn’t
Sorry if that was too deep for most of you to understand

I didn't read this absolutely incorrect answer before I posted.
Thanks for making my point before I even posted

Tad Boyle has been at Colorado since Deion was on cbs

Both “effect” and “affect” can be used as nouns, but they aren’t interchangeable
Never said they were interchangeable. What are you basing your comment on?
quote:
OP clearly means “effect.”
It’s not clear because he added zero context. We can assume it though due to the typical depth of knowledge TD posters bring to their posts.

Technically they are. LINK
That is a stretch, show me a condition listed as XYZ Affect anywhere rather than XYZ Affective Disorder. The term in psychology is used to describe facial expressions, gestures, postures, vocal intonations, etc., that typically accompany an emotion. Not an actual condition

But we all know OP didn’t mean to engage in a theoretical discussion of the embodied experiences of Deion’s coaching tenure.
He wasn't despite his claim that he was. He was trying to use the term “Prime Effect '' which was coined by Joel Klatt a few years ago.

I think it's genetic. Either you get it or you don't.
My husband is pretty good with choosing the right word, but cannot reason out affect and effect with any predictability.

So you double down.

Irregardless, Deion has been apart of something special.

You can start here.
I am not saying you are wrong, but you have yet to show me a place where the term Affec is used in conjunction with another name like saying the Prime Affect. I have seen it used alone in that manner and the the word Affective used when naming specific disorders. I do not intend to buy or read any of those books just asking for an example. Maybe I missed it on the page you linked.
