Ford (indy)
Mel Gibson
Both way too low aside from the Indy movies he was in Force 10 from Navarone, The Fugitive, Blade Runner, the Jack Ryan movies, Air Force One
Gibson has the Mad Max movies, the Lethal Weapon movies, Braveheart, We Are Soldiers, Patriot, Payback, Get the Gringo

If Predator isn’t the greatest action movie of all time, then Terminator 2 is.
It’s Schwarzenegger. Hands down. He’s the Jordan of action stars. Stallone, Russell, Willis, they’re great too. Just not as great. There’s no shame in being Barkley, Malone, or Ewing.

Kurt Russell and Mel Gibson and Bruce Willis were the only ones with any real character and swagger. Maybe throw Eddie Murphy in there for the BHC movies.

I'll throw Tom Hardy in the mix too. He was good playing the Kray twins, Reggie and Ronnie in the movie 'Legend".
He was pretty jacked in "Warrior" playing a fighter with co-star Joel Edgerton. He was pretty subdued in "The Drop" but winds up being a man not to be trifled with as the movie progresses.
Statham has some good flicks to his credit too.
Don't forget Mad Max: Fury Road.

Stallone killed it in First Blood

Arnold because Conan the Barbarian is an underrated masterpiece and infinitely rewatchable.

I think your list is extremely well thought out and almost spot on. I would switch Russell and Gibson.
Mel is definitely at least tier two if not one. He had the Mad Max films, Lethal Weapons, Braveheart, Patriot, Payback from his prime and even some of his newer stuff like Dragged Across Concrete is really good action. Russel basically had the two Escape movies which honestly don’t really even hold up that well. Other than that I really like your list though.

I could be convinced.

For me it's Arnie 1 and Sly 2

Jackie Chan!
That guy was my childhood hero and I tracked down all of his films that were out at that time. I even got my father hooked and it was great watching his films together.

I think the ending in the movie was great and some of Stallones best acting. Rambo 2 was entertaining as hell. Rambo 3 sucked. Rambo in Burma was also entertaining.
Predator is the best action movie of all time though.
