Go pro or D-1 college (if they offer the sport)
The sport where the highest amount of youth players go on to play in college is hockey.
Something like right around 10% of high school hockey players will get offered some level of college scholarship. No idea what the transition to the pros looks like.
I'll go with hockey if D1 college is the definition of excelling.

I'm watching the Premier League Darts match from Dublin, Ireland live right now and it consists of 8 of the top players in the world competing on a weekly basis in venues all over Europe.
There have to be 10K plus people in the venue to watch these guys play today. The atmosphere is insane.

I once saw a guy hit a bullseye and then throw another dart into the back of that dart. Most amazing thing Iv've ever seen in darts. I took a picture. I was like how do we score this?

The second dart has no score value. What he did is called a "Robin Hood" where an incoming dart sticks in a dart already in the board.
In order for a dart to count as a score, the point has to be in, or touching a scoring area. Sometimes if 2 darts are very close to each other in the board and a 3rd dart hits them, but doesn't stick or touch a scoring area, that too is a no-score dart. However, I've seen it many times that the dart is not sticking in the board, but the point is actually touching against a scoring area and the player gets credit for those points also.

yap. And I was nowhere near close to being good enough to even consider going pro. I would have gotten crushed by any top 30 professional. I knew my limits.

Is the first word suppose to be "There's", if so, yes.
I've been playing darts for damn near 40 years now and about 30 of them in league play. I can't even think about the number of "Robin Hoods" I've done over the years and how many stems and flights I've ruined in the process.
It is very common and if you went to a dart league night at any bar that sponsors league play, I'd pretty much guarantee you'd see at least 1 or 2 a night, if not more.

The winter sport of Curling. A drunk could probably do it.

I have a coworker really into it. From the upper midwest, I guess its part of the pantheon of winter bar activities that occur there.
Its his hobby. Watches YouTube videos constantly. Hes obsessed with it.

But I feel like a lot of people could probably be really good bowlers or drivers if they put 8 hours a day into it.
Not the same can be said for golf, baseball, etc.
8 hrs a day an you couldnt be good at golf or baseball?
Elite for any of those, no. Really good, yes.
