I finished ep. 4 last night.
1. So Disney knew Brian Peck was a pedophile yet still hired him for The Suite Life of Zach and Cody?

2. The same actors and actresses complaining about how some content was questionable and how it’s supposed to be a kids show look 100% like they’d support transgender bathrooms and drag shows for children. I couldn’t take their argument seriously.

The black kid from All That who said his life was never the same after not being invited back for Season 3 was just looking for a reason to blame his shortcomings on "The Man". All the shite that went down behind the scenes that irreparably harmed other kids, and in the 20 years since he hasn't been able to chase that high of being a child star?

Sounds like a you problem, my man.

Seth McFarlane called Weinstein out on live tv once and nobody did anything about it

They all knew and Seth is a left wing lunatic. If he really wanted to so something he could have instead of making a joke. Career of morals.

The part where they talked about Brian Peck calling Drakes gf's house repeatedly sent chills down my spine. That is effed up.

Unfortunately, I fear Ricky Gervais is coming from the same place as McFarlane. He talks a good game, but at the end of the day, he's still one of them.

If that was true then why didn't a single cast member accuse him of such? It wasn't even insinuated

In either the first or second episode, they stated that he and Amanda Bynes would be off to themselves for hours at a time I believe. That is extremely sketchy if true, but no real accusation.

I think there's enough evidence to say Dan is a weird, misogynist a-hole with a foot fetish who likes to place sexual innuendos in the shows that will go over the kids heads. But that is still a big difference from being an actual child rapist like Brian Peck or the Jason guy.

Now, if someone like Jamie Lynn Spears, Ariana Grande, or Amanda Bynes come forth with direct allegations, then I would completely recant my prior statement.

Drake Bell’s father is a better man than me. If I found out someone did that to my teenage son and then only got 16 months, I’d empty a clip into that motherfricker the second he walked out of that jail.

Yea I felt the same way about her as I did the girl who Dan called her fat, and that Amanda Bynes completely replaced her.

They both were mad at Dan that they got kicked off and never really got work again as an actor. But to me it just seems like maybe they simply weren't talented enough. There's been enough other child stars on All That and the other shows who was able to take that and move on to plenty of other acting projects.

Wouldn’t be surprised if it happens, just look at Drake Bell. Dude repressed the shite out of what Peck did to him didn’t even tell his dad until much later. Often times people try to suppress traumatic events.

That some unhinged parent hasn't murdered Dan Schneider is baffling.

Sadly a lore of those types of parents would gladly let that happen to their kids just so they get a piece of the fame and fortune.

I don’t think good, living parents generally put their kids out there like that.

never would've guessed Drake Bell was raped and actors like James Marsden and Alan Thicke wrote letters in support of the rapist

See Natalie Wood. To get roles as a child her Mother would tell her to sit on a Director's lap and wiggle her behind.

No wonder she was fricked up as a promiscuous teenager in Hollywood.

She even was apparently brutally raped by Kirk Douglas and her Mother told her to keep it quiet so she'd keep getting roles and feeding the family.

That's the level of allegation that it's going to take to put the Schneider issue to bed once and for all.

Old Hollywood is every bit as fricked up if not more than our modern incarnation.

Jay Leno summed it up best when he said "If God doesn't destroy Hollywood Boulevard with fire and brimstone, he owes Sodom and Gomorrah a massive apology."

I’ve only watched the last two episodes, but from what I saw one of the things that makes me feel bad for some of these kids is how messed up their family life is. For example, Drake Bell spending the night at Brian Peck’s house multiple times a week at the age of 15 because his mom didn’t want to drive him is insane to me. And then when he said his girlfriend’s mom knew something was wrong immediately, but his family couldn’t even figure it out was concerning. Some of these people’s parents deserve a good bit of blame of what they had to go through.

For what its worth...Amanda posted under a name "Ashley Banks" on twitter i think. She directly said Dan was the guy who impregnated her at 13 and forced her to get an abortion

Do you remember when Bill Burr or maybe Rogan basically said Bill Cosby rapes women?

Hannibal Buress made the comments that got the ball rolling.

From The Daily Beast:

In October 2014, comedian Hannibal Buress was performing a standup set in Philadelphia and decided to work out a riff about Bill Cosby that he’d tried at a handful of sets that year. The difference was that this time, someone in the audience pulled out their camera phone.

“Bill Cosby has the frickin’ smuggest old Black man public persona that I hate,” Buress says in the video. “He gets on TV, ‘Pull your pants up, Black people! I was on TV in the ’80s. I can talk down to you because I had a successful sitcom!’ Yeah, but you rape women, Bill Cosby, so turn the crazy down a couple notches. ‘I don’t curse on stage!’ Well, yeah, but you’re a rapist, so…”

At the time, Cosby, the comedy legend known as “America’s Dad,” had been making headlines for his patronizing lectures aimed at Black youth, specifically young Black men, for what he considered to be unsightly and stereotypical behavior that was harming their culture’s image. The audience reaction to Buress’ blunt joke was a mix of shocked giggles and gasps.

“That shite is upsetting,” Buress continued. “If you didn’t know about it, trust me. When you leave here, Google ‘Bill Cosby rape.’ It’s not funny. That shite has more results than ‘Hannibal Buress.’”

The idea of the bit, obviously, is that Cosby’s shaming was hypocritical and out of step with his own behavior. “I could take you saying lots of ‘motherfrickers’ on Bill Cosby: Himself if you weren’t a rapist,” Buress added.

***
Bits of pop culture that often resurface now in relation to the open secret about Cosby were around years before Buress’ viral moment. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler joked about it in 2005 on Saturday Night Live. A 2009 episode of 30 Rock saw Tracy Morgan’s character saying, ?“Bill Cosby, you got a lotta nerve getting on the phone with me after what you did to my Aunt Paulette! 1971. Cincinnati. She was a cocktail waitress with the droopy eye!”

***
“For whatever reason, when Hannibal Buress mentions Bill Cosby and talks about this stuff, it explodes,”
