Football is Jerry Rice and I don’t see how it’s close
23,500 yards playing as a RECEIVER
207 TDs
Half that gets you in the HoF easily.
Brady wasn’t the best QB of his own generation. He was in the best system with the most all-pro players in history in the weakest division for two decades.
Replace Brady with Brees, Manning, or Rodgers and playing under the Brady Rules and everyone knows deep down we’d get better production and more SBs.

You do realize how good Bonds was at defense and baserunning, right?
Yes.
I'll give you the base stealing, Barry has the leg up there.

Ruth played against guys who second job was baseball.
What do you think this means? Do you think it makes a point?
So guys had jobs in the off-season because they weren't rich...and? What's your point? They weren't pampered a-holes like Bonds?
Btw, Babe Ruth made more than the President of the United States in his time.

I think it should be Rice for football. The distance between him and his peers is insane.
Brady: 11% more passing yards than #2
Rice: 30.9% more receiving yards than #2

Rice: 30.9% more receiving yards than #2

Ty Cobb was the greatest baseball player who ever lived. It's not even close, and I think Ruth himself basically said so.
At the height of Ruth's slugging exploits, Cobb modified his usual average-focused approach at the plate for a couple of games just to show off. After he'd hit multiple triples, back-to-back home runs, etc., he went back to playing like himself, his point made: Ty Cobb could play like Babe Ruth. Nobody else could play like Ty Cobb.
