School? Small (Houston Christian)

RAS? Extreme

Position" Edge

There are 3 issues: (1) He's not our ideal height (2) He's not our ideal weight (3) No real injury history.

However, our team has said we may be shifting our edge philosophy (especially after Baum's end to the year), so 1 and 2 may not apply anymore as much.

Drafting guys like davenport and turner has worked out extremely well for the saints.

I’d love to see another project defensive end that plays 2 games a year and burns up a high pick.

Brian Thomas Jr had an insane RAS score so maybe they look his way instead

There were 3 guys at this combine alone with a better RAS than BJT, just FYI

BJT is a willing blocker as well.

I could get on board with that pick.

Let’s go ahead and waste a couple draft picks to trade up and grab a running back while we’re at it. (Especially if said running back is short, small, and not that fast)
