According to Scripture and Jewish tradition, the sin that led to the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah was inhospitality....except in this case, inhospitality means everything from charging a toll to anyone wanting to enter into the city, all the way to gangraping visitors.

If you remember, Lot asked if God would spare the city if He could find x amount of righteous people in that city. The number Lot asked got lower and lower until basically we knew there were very few people (if any) who were righteous.
Now a days, there are some good people in most places
But, the US is quickly turning into Sodom and gommarah. People are evil and the USA is saying it’s ok

There weren't 10 righteous people in Sodom. They were all deviants. Didn't help the poor folks & weren't hospitable to the angels.
But the sin now is as bad or worse, just more good people still fighting for righteousness.

There were no toilets, toilet paper, showers or fresh water distrubution to individual homes in Sodom or Gomorrah.
Those facts alone make S&G's kink filthier than whatever kink you find in today's world.

Lot’s family was literally the only righteous one in sodom and gamorah. As bad as things are in US cities there are still tens of thousands of believers.
