I wasn’t in that thread but he’s not an accountant. A team is spending tens of millions of dollars on the physical ability of his body to play the sport. That’s why they have the right to know.

With the exception of the self employed? Most people are essentially indentured servants of some sort. They just have the ability to trade their limited years for different amounts of labor and recompense.
A guy whose only option is digging ditches or cleaning toilets is damn near a slave. Someone earning the league minimum is pretty far removed from that. Hell, the typical four star football player's NIL deal is more money than the average blue collar worker earns in a decade.
And yes if you want to refuse teams the access to your medical records you have that right. And the teams have a similar right to interpret that decision and adjust their draft rating.
