/improved

And he then referenced Neal as his most improved in the actual post. But I get you. Not worth an argument. Bottom line, Neal and Anderson are a couple of dogs and glad they’re wearing LSU uniforms.

that’s a good pick.

JJ would always bring him up as a guy we were super lucky to get to campus. Just something that wouldn’t have happened if he didn’t get hurt in HS

He has the classic line..."the game has slowed down for him" written all over him. Running them down and hitting them hard!

If its most underrated, im prob going ulloa or moffett or bingham.

Id have kade anderson, but based on the ingame thread last night, everyone has recognized him. Maybe ive just spent too much time in the game thread.

There aren’t too many kids like him pitching on a Wednesday night around the country.

For all the fanfare Cam Johnson got, this kid was right under everyone’s nose. He may have more upside than Johnson to be honest.

He is definitely more seasoned. Johnson is more raw.

He is for sure a luxury. Sounds like he prob wouldve been alot more highly rated if not for the injury in high school. Which is usually how we get these studs

Kling. He's got almost every tool. If he starts to hit for power more, he's a five tool guy. Not to say Neal hasn't improved. It's still so early.

This ball club looks ready to do big things in SEC play.

Geaux Tigers!

JJ is protecting Neal. He is young. If he only catches 9 or so innings a week & DH's most of the off days with a rest day every now & than, he will be fine for the May run. Batting behind White will be a difference maker.

Biggest surprise & most improved...anyone heard of Milam before the week before last?

Yes. Anybody who followed the team knew he had a chance at starting this year.

I always thought Milam would have the best chance to start day one just because we really didn't have anyone else to play 2nd (Pearson moving there never really crossed my mind). The kid is a stud. But I am surprised with how fast he grew from the fall to now. In the fall, he looked like it might take a little time for him to adjust to this level. Hence, the Pearson move. But from the last week or so of spring practice to now, he really turned it on and looks really comfortable out there.

Strained back?

It was a back injury, but the exact diagnosis escapes me.

Imagine having 3 catchers who are quality guys. 2 of them being offensive threat and one being the best defensive catcher in the sec.

Milazzo has been very good offensively so far this year. We have 3 catchers who would start at almost any other school right now

This. Duttton made 19 appearances last year and I don't think anyone was ever excited to see him come in Now he's made 4 appearances and hasn't let up a run in 5 innings. He doesn't look like the same pitcher.

I am going with Aiden Moffett.

Last year he never recorded an out. This year he has not given up a run or a hit in 3 appearances.

Pay attention to the contact not the results

Had a big opportunity last weekend to pitch out of an inherited runner jam & couldn’t. Gave up a few scorching doubles

I don't think you will be saying this at the end of the year. He looks like the same pitcher, just has gotten favorable results so far. Not trying to shite on him. Just don't think he is as good as you are making him out to be. I also don't think Guidry is going to be at the top of the list of dependable arms throughout the season either. I'm going to get eaten alive for that one as well.
