It was him or O'Rourke. He went hard against (R) immediately after the election of 2020. It was a "it'll be OK, I think," vote versus the "F that guy vote."

Paxton may be getting investigated but that impeachment clusterfrick poisoned the well on a lot of it.

I have no clue what point you thought you made. The post was about Cornyn possibly running for Sen leader under during a Trump presidency. To which Cornyn replied "hard to run from prison, Ken"
The only 2 people "running" for anything in regards to that tweet are Cornyn for Speaker and Trump for president. So the post can only be refeering to them, and we all know Cornyn wasnt assuming he himself was going to be in prison
Otherwise, he should never have inserted the term "run" in the equation, if it was a dig at Paxton
