Isnt the SEC a top 2 or 3 conference? 10-8 gets us in IMO
I don’t think we’d hit that 8/9 team for NCAAT. But truly we want SEC to get as many teams as possible so we’re automatic NIT and hosting team.

We just don’t really have any games left that will shoot us up the net ratings
Even if we had beaten state

They don’t seem to out a whole lot of value in the conference record. They’ll loot at out OOC schedule and our conference wins and our NET. 2 of those 3 are not very good. Our loss to miss st. Most likely makes us have to win the conference tournament.

Fair or not the curb stomping by state pretty much erased the increase from winning vs SC and UK. We were at 91 before the game today and I doubt we move up more than a spot or two.

Ah well. Maybe Cook comes back and we go on a run at Bridgestone

Here’s hoping. That would be fun!

Ole Miss is definitely NOT favored to win three of their last four.
Really I don't understand why Ole Miss seems to even be considered an NCAA "bubble team." Their only decent win the whole season is a home W over unranked Moo State. But ... Chris Beard is the coach we wanted, I get that.

I think Aggies win three of their final four games and make the NCAA tourney

That team is so fricking overrated

On the road, those last 2 blocks were fouls.

Neither were fouls, and the refs didn't favor LSU tonight. There were at least two late calls which seemed to favor Georgia-- a travel which was NOT called, and an apparent turnover with about 25 seconds to go when GA had the ball in their backcourt

Maybe this is karma for the Florida no call on wright at the end of the game.

He was hit on the body and arm. The shot block was clean, but he was fouled before that. Probably wouldn't have gotten the call if it wasn't blocked.
Exactly, Tchewe bounced into Baker pushing him back and keeping him from dunking the ball and kept him from getting higher to prevent the block. It was a good call.

Honestly, I think UGA got screwed on foul & last shot
When a player drops his arms, it is frequently incorrectly called, because that doesn't always result in contact. It looks like Reed got all ball, and on top of that he was jumping backwards. Reed made a great play, and I don't think he fouled. If he had gotten called, it would've been screwing LSU, but understandable, since most refs just automatically call it when they see the arm drop. I think the key was Reed jumping backwards.

Could have been called a foul, and the block on Baker that was could have been a no call. LSU got the benefit of the doubt in those two situations. But I'm just going to chalk it up to basketball karma because UGA could have been called for going over the back on the game winning rebound in Athens

It is even. The sports god giveth and take away. Offensive foul for a push off couldbe been called on their first attempt
